After posting many funny photos and videos of her children, Hilaria Baldwin announced that she was going to be taking a break from social media.

She did not issue a statement regarding why she plans to leave, although the news comes less than a month after her husband, Alec Baldwin, was named in a wrongful death lawsuit regarding the death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Although it's not clear why Hilaria is taking a social media break, it may have something to do with the new 55-acre Vermont estate that the Baldwins recently purchased last month. Although the Baldwins plan to stay at their primary residence in New York, the historic Vermont is estate looks like it might become a new weekend getaway from the large family.

As The Blast previously reported, the Baldwin family has purchased a $1.75 million dollar estate in Arlington, Vermont. The property is located about three and a half hours north of New York City, where Alec, Hilaria, and their six children currently reside.

According to a local news outlet, the enormous Vermont estate was built in the late 1700s and was described in a real estate ad as a “classic Vermont 18th century farm [that] features 55 beautiful acres, a 3,600 [square foot] main house and a nicely renovated 1800 [square-foot] guest cottage with 2 baths.”

The property is also said to contain “numerous outbuildings, updated horse stalls, several pastures, expansive landscaped lawn areas, pleasant views and a pond with a picturesque waterfall spillway” and “substantial renovations that have taken place in recent years.”

Faith Rhodes, a principal broker and owner of Rhodes Real Estate, said that the farmhouse was built before 1800, in 1780 or 1783. “It’s a historic farm,” she said. “East Arlington Village is historic itself.”

The broker said that the property is gorgeous and that the area where the estate lies is very old and historic.

“There are 50-something acres, and it’s just gorgeous … just gorgeous,” she added. “That part of Arlington is very old and historic. It dates back to the Green Mountain Boys. It’s a really beautiful part of the village.”

Although both Alec and Hilaria have been open with unwelcome experiences with paparazzi leaving in New York, it seems that they have no plans to pack up and leave anytime soon.

“It’s certainly not their primary residence,” Rhodes said of the Baldwin's new property. “But they love the community as well. They got to know it and loved it.” A local news outlet reported that Hilaria’s grandfather established roots in Arlington and was well-known by the community. He passed away on March 2, 2020, at the age of 92. After learning that his family had found a connection to the area that predated the American Resolution, they purchased a summer cottage, and later, a farmhouse, in East Arlington.

Baldwin and his family had visited the area last October to get away from the press immediately after the death of Halyna Hutchins.

Although fans are going to miss Hilaria's hilarious photos and videos of her children, they wish her all the best.
