Hilaria Baldwin Posts Throwback Paella Photo With Alec Baldwin For Valentine's Day Tribute

Hilaria Baldwin posted a touching Valentine’s Day message to her husband Alec Baldwin.

The pair married in 2012 and have six children together. On Monday, Hilaria said that she was looking back at her phone and posted a throwback photo of the “30 Rock” actor to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

On Monday, Hilaria shared a hilarious photo of Alec Baldwin looking longingly down at a plate of paella on her Instagram page.

“I looked back on my phone today to see if I had any pics of our first Valentine’s Day together…it’s this one and a photo of the paella ?,” she began.

“Prechildren, I didn’t take many pics,” she explained. “We had been together 4 days shy of a year, you were shooting 30 rock, called me, asked me if Valentine’s Day was a big deal for me. I said ‘no’ because…welp, I’m sometimes robotic in the romantic swing of things—such a rational Capricorn.”

“I’m softening and learning,” she added. “We agreed we were both working late and we would skip it. Then you picked me up from work, teaching yoga, and said you had a surprise. Brought me for my homey, comfort food…got me an amazing present, and a beautiful card.”

“Then you asked: where is my card?” she continued. “I’m like: Um, remember we weren’t celebrating? You told me that was unacceptable and you had an extra card at home that I could fill out for you when we got home ? (yikes, AB).”

“I obvs refused because that felt fake,” she continued. “And next day, I went to CVS and bought every single corny and ridiculous card I could and decorated the apartment. You came in, I thought you’d laugh, you cried and said it was the most beautiful and romantic thing ever…cue me feeling awkward ?..Robot-hilaria ?.”

“I learned you are emotional and romantic, and I’ve never forgotten a card since, because it is meaningful to you and you are meaningful to me ?,”she concluded. “See my stories for the weirdness I created for Feb 15th 2012.”

In her Instagram Stories, Hilaria shared a photo of a wooden floor covered in colorful paper cut-out hearts.

“All set up for Valentine’s Day…” she wrote. “Let’s see what this looks like tomorrow am after three kitties have a fiesta field night with this while we are sleeping.”

She also addressed her followers in a separate Instagram Story.

“Happy Valentine’s Day everybody,” she began. “I’m going to tell you a story that is hopefully going to make you laugh at something awful that happened to me. I’m like ten blocks from the house. Leo and I went to go get valentine’s presents for his siblings yesterday and […] is breaking and it’s snowing and we’re rushing home and it’s like heavy and so I’m asking him to walk really fast.”

“And so we’re walking fast and we’re going to cross the street and I said hold on to me. He grabs the hood of that fluffy coat that I have. Rips it off accidentally because it’s with the buttons. It falls in like the nastiest New York puddle in the world. And he’s like I’m so sorry, mommy; I’m like, it’s okay, it’s… it happens and then he throws it in the bag. He puts it in the bag and like I didn’t realize the bag is like obviously in front of my face. Felt all of the contents of the puddle go all the way down my face into my mouth. So if we ever wonder, like, the next thing that we’re going to get sick from, it is going to come from me and that nasty puddle.”

She closed off the story by saying, “Love you” and blowing a kiss to her followers.

She later posted a follow-up selfie of her in a puffy white sherpa jacket and brown slippers. She wrote, “It was this jacket with this hood… the hood is currently getting disinfected like crazy.”
