Aaron Carter and his fiancée, Melanie Martin, have called it quits again!

The former teen pop sensation, 34, shared the news on Twitter that he and Martin, 29, the mother of his three-month-old son, Prince Lyric, had broken up once again just two months after they reconciled.

"My relationship has come to a point where we have to part ways," Carter tweeted on February 23. "Please respect my privacy at this time. Thank you."

The "I Want Candy" singer also shared his plans to stay single because of trust issues.

"I have no intentions on being in any relationship anytime soon. I’m too scarred and I can’t trust any woman," he wrote in a different tweet. "So I’m going to protect my soul and my heart at this time."

Focusing On His Son

When a fan tweeted to him, "I hope you are okay," Carter responded, writing, "Never better. Especially now."

In another post, he noted that his son "is my biggest success I love my baby boy and daddy love you."

Carter & Martin Broke Off Their Engagement In November

Carter announced his breakup from his Martin on November 30, just a week after they welcomed their baby boy.

“Due to personal reason Melanie Martin and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Carter tweeted at the time.

He added, "There has been a very big lie and my sister communicating w my ex fiancé ruined everything considering she knew what angel tried to do to me in court thanks angel you ruined my family. God bless."

What Caused The Split?

The singer blamed his family, particularly his twin sister Angel for causing the rift.

"I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court," he claimed. "I’m in shocked this is horrible."

Carter & Martin Reconciled

On December 3, Carter returned to Twitter, telling fans their relationship was "over." However, three days later, they worked through their differences and reconciled.

He shared a video of his then-newborn son lying on the bed on Instagram and wrote in the caption:

"Our baby boy prince Lyric Carter Loves Christmas oldies just like his daddy," Carter wrote.

He also gave a shoutout to his baby mama, writing, "@missmelaniemartin I love you for giving me the greatest gift. You are an amazing woman l, my everything I am so grateful for you my darling. #fatherhood #NewParents."

Carter continued, "thank you to everyone who has been supportive. Relationships aren’t easy but we love, cherish and adore our son. #GodBless Xo ."

What Could Be The Reason For Their Split This Time?

The split came after Carter made a big purchase of a 2021 Escalade. As reported by The Blast, he showed off his new ride on Instagram on the same day he shared the breakup news.

"Had to buy another one new 2022 Wait till you see what I DO with THIS ONE!! #ESCALADE ? WHO WANTS TO CUSTOMIZE MY NEW WHIP!?" he wrote.

In a new video shared to his Instagram Story today, Carter claimed he dropped "$129k" on the brand new car.
