It will be hard to beat, but she’s confident her second album will rock the boat.

“I have a title for my next album and a few songs," she explained to Billboard. "It's really exciting to think about the next world that's coming up for me. I just love writing songs. I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself. I want to just sort of explore and have fun right now."

Rodrigo’s “Sour” was nominated for seven Grammy awards.

She will be competing against fellow artists in the following categories: Album, Song, Record, New Artist, Music Video, Pop Vocal Album, and Pop Solo Performance.

Rodrigo will also be honored as Woman of the Year at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards on March 2.

She Is On Fire!!!

Despite the worldwide popularity of “Sour,” Rodrigo will not be releasing any bonus tracks or a deluxe release.

She explained, "I chose not to do any bonus tracks or special editions because “Sour” just felt like such a distinct era in my life, and I felt like I wanted to give the songs and album time to breathe. And yeah, I'm excited to create a new era of my music. I really like the way the album existed as a body of work."

She has not revealed any information about the album name, premise, music vibe, or song titles.

But if "Sour" is any indication of life events playing out in her music, well then we could some even juicier breakup ballads.

Rodrigo and Adam Faze reportedly broke up earlier this year. She hinted at it in an interview with British Vogue.

A now viral TikTok is what ignited the breakup rumors.

The video claims that Faze was spotted out with model Christine Burke during some New Year’s Eve festivities, while Rodrigo was purportedly celebrating with buddy Conan Gray.

In the BV interview, Rodrigo was asked the best way to get over someone and she explained that cutting off all contact is the way to.

“Besides cutting off all contact, I think it’s important to not only forgive them, but forgive yourself for letting everything happen,” the singer answered. “That’s what I’ve learned.”

She also could’ve been referring to her relationship with “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” co-star Joshua Bassett.

Many believe her smash hit debut single, “Driver’s License,” was about her breakup with Bassett, who was rumored to be messing around with Sabrina Carpenter.

To say it was DRAMATIC would be an understatement.

Both Rodrigo and Bassett denied the rumors, but didn’t deny the storyline.

In December, Bassett opened up about the most talked about media storms of the year.

"I have a right to stand up for myself," he said while talking to GQ.

“I would see TikToks with like 50 million views and 10 million likes saying, ‘If I ever see that kid on the street, I'm going to f***ing kill him,’” Bassett said. “It's hard to see that and then be living in New York and walking down the street.”

The 'HSMTMTS' actor revealed he has tried reached out to Rodrigo, but has never heard anything back.

Bassett also noted that people don’t realize how long ago the drama occurred. He didn’t directly reference Rodrigo, but implied that’s what he was referring to.
