As speculations continue to swirl that Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are no more lovers, the fiancé decided to clear the air on their relationship status.
Rodgers shocked the world in 2021 when he announced his engagement to the "Big Little Lies" actress, but things seemed to take a turn this year.
Nevertheless, it appears that the lovebirds are back together as the four-time NFL MVP sang praises of his fiancée like a canary in a recent interview.
Aaron Rodgers Tributes His "Partner" Shailene Woodley Amid Breakup Speculations
As multiple reports point to the end of the road for Rodgers and his fiancée, he came out to show that he still considers them a couple, according to PEOPLE.
On Tuesday, January 22, Rodgers appeared on "The Pat McAfee Show" to announce that he would not be making any career changes, as speculated. He then took the time to tribute Woodley.
The NFL star wanted the world to know he holds his partner dearly and went down memory lane to reveal they have been a couple for two NFL seasons.
The "Divergent" actress must be Rodgers' lucky charm as he admitted he won the league's Most Valuable Player award in both years. He also praised Woodley for being an "amazing partner to do life with."
Rodgers gushed that the positive qualities of the "Adrift'' actress make his work life "a bonus." When speaking about the women supporting the league's stars, he noted that he has learned much from his partner. He continued:
"She's just an incredible woman, talented, smart kind. I said last night, she taught me what unconditional love looks like, and that's a great gift. When you have a partner like that, it just makes life so much more enjoyable."
Woodley seems to have permanently impacted Rodgers and his quality of life for the better as he said:
"I think that living a life of gratitude is such an important way to keep that joy in your life, and when you meet your person, life just changes … You're never the same because you know you can't be."
Rodgers has previously publicly shared his views on living a grateful life and how thankful he is to Woodley on social media.
Earlier this month, The Blast disclosed that amid breakup rumors between him and his fiancée, the Green Bay Packers quarterback took to Instagram with an appreciation post.
The athlete uploaded a series of pictures speaking on the theme of gratitude, but what caught the eye of most viewers was a heartwarming selfie of him cozied up on a couch with Woodley.
In the image, the couple was dressed in matching black hoodies. The fiancée rested against her man while they basked in the moment with eyes closed. Even sweeter was Rodgers' message to her.
The NFL star thanked Woodley for letting him chase after her for months after they met and for letting him catch up to her and be a part of her life. He continued:
"Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like. I love you and am grateful for you.”

Earlier this month, speculations began swirling that the love story of Rodgers and Woodley has come to an end on amicable terms.
The Blast revealed that multiple reports showed that the Green Bay Packers quarterback and his partner are going their separate ways, spurring from problems relating to his sports career.
An insider told In Touch, that the fiancée fully supports her man, but his attention to sports was affecting their quality time. The source said:
“While Shailene is supportive of Aaron’s career, he put football first, and they were barely spending any time together. She felt he neglected their relationship. Neither of them was happy.”
The report also stated that Rodgers is an "independent" individual, so the idea of spending forever with Woodley may have given him "cold feet."
Nevertheless, the two were said to have split "amicably" as they have the best wishes for each other but simply “couldn’t make it work.”
Reports also reveal that Rodgers failed to mention the "Big Little Lies" actress in his acceptance speech when he was named MVP of the NFL this year.
