What do John Mulaney, Oscar Isaac, and Zoë Kravitz all have in common?
They’re all going to be hosting “Saturday Night Live” in the next few weeks!
John Mulaney Is Joining The Five-Timers Club On ‘SNL’
“SNL” writer John Mulaney has been tapped to host “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday, February 26. Musical guest LCD Soundsystem has been scheduled as the musical guest that night.
This will mark the stand-up comedian’s fifth time as hosting, and officially make him part of the legendary Five Timers Club, which includes comedic greats such as Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, Drew Barrymore, and Paul Rudd.
Paul Rudd hosted the last episode of 2021, which was halted due to the spread of the Omicron variant. There was no live audience, musical guest Charli XCX dropped out, and the episode consisted of pre-taped footage, so some fans are arguing that Rudd needs a better celebration. Regardless, it looks like nothing is going to drop Mulaney’s return next Saturday.
There’s no word as to when Rudd will make a return, but Charli XCX’s musical performance has finally been rescheduled!

The “Boom Clap” singer is finally going to return to the “SNL” stage to perform on Saturday, March 5. That will be the same day that former “Star Wars” star Oscar Isaacwill be hosting to promote his upcoming Disney+ Marvel series “Moon Knight,” which will debut on March 30.
The “Moon Knight” series features Isaac in the starring role as Marc Spector, “a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder,” according to the synopsis. The six-episode series will see “the multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.”
On March 12, “The Batman” star Zoë Kravitz will host alongside musical guest Rosalía, who previously performed with Bad Bunny during Season 46. Kravitz will be there to promote her debut as Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman, opposite the newest “Batman” Robert Pattinson in “The Batman,” which debuts in theaters on Friday, March 4.
Previous musical guests this season have consisted of “Bad Guy” singer Billie Eilish, “West Side Story” actress Ariana DeBose, “MacGruber” star Will Forte, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” actor Willem Dafoe, among others.

Fans were divided over the latest announcement of hosts and musical guests.
“Who can I talk to about the massive misunderstanding that we wanted another John Mulaney SNL?” one fan asked. “I agree,” said another. “The opportunity should go to someone who hasn’t hosted ever!”
“Is it TOO much to ask for STEVE MARTIN & MARTIN SHORT Co-Host Musical Guest.. Neil Young O.k you sense my age… but I still can see and hear very well, and remember what comedy and music is. You know, the good stuff,” another fan commented.
Can you believe that besides Paul Rudd and John Mulaney SNL has had almost an entire season so far of ALL first-timer hosts? Will they keep it going for the remaining six?

“Can't you guys find anyone else to host, besides John Mulaney????” another asked. “Why not just give the guy his own show, instead of having him guest host every couple of months. Another SNL I'll be skipping.”
“Please give Paul Rudd another go!” another wrote. “I agree. Not that I don’t like Mulaney, but it seems like the get him when no one else is available at this point.”

“Hmm, let’s have this person writing jokes for John this time around,” another wrote.
“Well YE just wrote the entire show for you guys this week,” another fan joked, referring to Kanye West's Instagram tirade against “SNL” alum Pete Davidson that has been occupying headlines for much of the last week.
Due to the Olympics, Mulaney won't be hosting until Saturday, February 26, 2022. Only one more week to go!
