Barrymore sees dating as fun, but she doesn’t date very often. So far, none of her dates have led to something serious, but she remains confident.

Being a mom, businesswoman, talk show host, and more could be quite tasking, but she handles it all well. With the busy schedule of her life, the 46-year-old revealed that she goes on one or two dates a year.

The actress described her previous dates as funny stories even though they have not been that great. She tries to avoid being cynical when she’s out there by being her best self and enjoying the moment.

Since her separation from Will Kopelman in 2016, being open to loving hasn’t been easy on the “Blended” star.

Following a conversation with the men from Queer Eye, she realized that dating was more about how people looked within themselves to discover what holds them back or why they are afraid.

She added, “I realized that a big part of my journey has been that I’m just for me. I’m a mom, and I don’t know how to date with kids. It hasn’t been my priority, and I don’t really know how to navigate it.”

Since her kids have gotten older, she has become more open to dating, although she is a bit out of practice after six years of being out of the dating world.

As a single mom, she never approached dating as she was more focused on her kids and building healthy relationships with everyone.

Drew Barrymore Revealed She Once Had A Pregnancy Scare

Earlier this year, Barrymore conversed with “Scream” co-stars Courtney Cox, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell on her show, where she talked about her pregnancy fright.

The Blast shared that when she was 21, the Emmy Award nominee believed she was pregnant, so she asked Cox for advice. At the time, the two stars were pretty close as they filmed “Scream.”

Barrymore recalled and told the 57-year-old on the show that she repeatedly asked, “How do you know if you are pregnant?” She continued:

We are supposed to shoot this poster, but oh my God, I just started dating someone, and how do you know?”

The mother-of-two believed Cox was dependable, and she felt safe in divulging her fright to the older star. Barrymore further described her co-star as the mature, safe person in the room.
