Two days after he was reportedly shot at an after-party held at a Los Angeles restaurant, rapper Kodak Black was released from the hospital and is recovering from the minor injuries he suffered at the shooting incident.
Black and several others were shot at the after-party, which singer Justin Bieber held to celebrate his concert. Those injured were taken to the hospital for medical attention, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident. Read on to find out more.
Black Was Released On Monday
In a video posted by TMZ, fans saw 24-year-old Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, as he was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. In the video, the rapper used a walker to get to his car, a black SUV and was then helped inside by several people.
The L.A.P.D has released a press statement, which reported that the shooting happened due to a fight between several individuals outside of the restaurant. At 2:45 a.m. local time, gunshots were fired, and several individuals were injured.
They also told the press that "multiple rounds were fired" but did not disclose the identity of the victims. However, sources later told NBC News and TMZ that Black was injured during the incident. His representatives and those of Bieber and the restaurant are yet to make any statements.
There Were Several VictimsÂ
Despite their refusal to reveal the identities of the victims, the police did tell The Hollywood Reporter that the gunfire hit victims of the ages 19, 24, and 60. So far, the press has only identified Black as one of the victims.
According to the LAPD's press release, authorities at the scene immediately identified two injured persons when they arrived at the scene. These two victims were then taken to local hospitals for treatment, and it was determined that they had non-life-threatening injuries.
Two additional injured persons later took themselves to local hospitals for treatment, and as of Sunday morning, all four victims were in stable medical condition.
The Police Is Yet To Make Any Arrests
In their statement, the L.A.P.D added that a yet-to-be-identified suspect fired the gunshots and that the person fled south from the location after the shooting. They did describe their suspect as a black male. As of Tuesday morning, no arrests have been made.

TMZ later posted footage of the shooting that showed another angle to what happened. In the video, a man can be seen in a black hoodie holding an object that looks like a pistol. Just as the shots were fired, the object was seen pointed in the direction of Black and the people around him. The man then ran out of the camera's view.
Many Celebrities Were At The Party
Several celebrities were at the after-party, including Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Drake, Tobey Maguire, and several others.
The L.A.P.D is still investigating the shooting and the fight that led to it. They have asked that anyone with any information about the suspect and the incident contact the authorities or submit an anonymous tip online.
