The feud between Kid Cudi and Kanye "Ye" West continues to intensify with no sign of peacemaking ahead for both estranged parties.
Now, Cudi, who has always been vocal about his mental health struggles, is seeking prayers from the public amid their debacle.
A few hours ago, the "Day 'N' Nite" rapper, whose birth name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, got candid on social media about needing God's protection.
Kid Cudi Asks Fans To Pray For His Mind
Cudi updated his Instagram page hours ago on Tuesday, February 15, with an image that hinted that he was in a fragile mental state. The photo read,
"God please watch over me and keep my mind sane. [prayer hands emoji] I could use it right now."
Though the "Pursuit of Happiness" rapper muted his comments to avoid any unwarranted criticism from internet trolls, he made sure to send his best wishes to others who may also be in low spirits.
Cudi continued, "To anyone who feels alone, im with u and I love you." He captioned his post which has racked over 300,000 likes with a peace sign and hearts emoji.
The Shade Room swiftly reposted the "Don't Look Up" rapper's image on their Instagram page, urging readers to send him some well-wishes to cheer him up.
Their post's caption read, "#TSRPrayersUp: #KidCudi asks God for some grace during this time! #Roommates, let’s send him some positive words in the comments 🙏🏾❤️."
A kind user wrote, "Sending love to all those who feel unseen, unheard and alone 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿." Another sadly commented, "For the real Ye/Cudi fans, this is hard to see."
A concerned fan penned, "I truly hope he's ok. He's dealt with mental illnesses in the past so I hope he's getting the help he needs."

In a post with over two thousand likes, an internet user commented, "Kanye and that negative energy smh. Cudi you'll be aight. Shake back."
Another worried fan wanted to know if Ye has been bullying his former friend behind the scenes and asked, "Is Kanye harassing you Cudi? 👀"
Earlier this month, The Blast reported on the star's feud with Ye, which originated from his angst with Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian.
The "Donda" star announced that he had kicked Cudi off his upcoming album solely because of his relationship with Davidson. Ye wrote:
“Just so everyone knows, Cudi will not be on "Donda 2" because he’s friends with you know who."
The rapper continued, “We all speak in Billie language now,” alongside a shrug emoji caption that shed light on his point on the debacle.
Cudi and West previously bonded over their deep love for hip-hop. They worked on the 2008 track “Welcome To Heartbreak."
They collaborated on subsequent singles including “Gorgeous,” “All of the Lights,” “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1,” “Christian Dior Denim Flow," “Erase Me,” “Make Her Say,” “G.O.O.D. Friday,” and “Welcome to the World.”
The close friends also released a joint album together in 2018 titled “Kid Sees Ghost,” which was acclaimed by fans and critics.
The "Kid Sees Ghost" Star Calls Ye A "F*ckin Dinosaur"
Following Ye's announcement that he has booted Cudi off "Donda 2," he took to the "Flashing lights" rapper's comment section to bash him without restraint.
The Blast shared that the "Mr. Rager" star insinuated that he was unbothered by the fact that his old friend was cutting him off.
Cudi also hinted that he had done Ye a favor by being a part of the upcoming album in the first place. He wrote:
“Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u f*ckin dinosaur hahaha [laughing emoji] Everyone knows I’ve been the best thing about ur albums since I met u. Ima pray [for u] brother.”
Despite trouble in paradise between the former friends, Ye still holds that anyone supporting his ex-wife is against him as well.
The "Watch The Throne" rapper still plans to release his album without any tracks that feature Cudi on February 22, as seen in an Instagram post he made in January.
"Donda 2" is set to be a star-studded affair with various stars, including The Game, ASAP Rocky, Pusha T, and footballer Antonio Brown. Producers Mike Dean and DJ Premier will also be in charge of releasing the album.
