Kanye West Excludes Kid Cudi From 'Donda 2'

Since Davidson and Kardashian began their lovey-dovey relationship, Kanye has not stopped throwing barbs at their persona.

The rapper recently accused the pair of kidnapping his daughter Chicago on her birthday and even released a track that dissed the comedian. He also accused his ex-wife of allowing their daughter, North, to stay on Tik-Tok against his will.

Kanye is extending his hands of wrath to include people who have a relationship with Davidson. On Saturday, West took to Instagram to reveal Kid Cudi will be absent from his upcoming sequel to "Donda."

"Just so everyone knows, Cudi will not be on Donda because he's friends with you know who," West said in the post, subtly referring to Cudi's friendship with Kim Kardashian's boyfriend as the reason for his shocking decision.

The rapper added, "We all speak in Billie language now," alongside a shrug emoji caption that seemed to highlight his point on the issue.

Fans Reaction To West Post

Following his post on Instagram, West's fans jumped into the comment section to give their take on the matter. One fan trashed Cudi for chilling with the other side, "Cudi is supposed to be family. Riding with her is embarrassing. Come back home, Cudi."

Another fan said, "CUDI IS OFFICIALLY CUT OFF. YE. GIVE ME THE GREEK LIGHT. HE MUST BE ELIMANTEF." While most fans seemed to hit out at Cudi, some were sad that another collaboration from the music maestros might never happen.

"Cudi humming on Donda 2 would've been beautiful. Not gonna lie," another follower commented on the post.

One fan added, "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined."

West And Cudi's History

Cudi and West have collaborated numerous times, given that they share a similar love for hip-hop. One of their earliest joint work was in the 2008 track "Welcome To Heartbreak." Cudi gave a classic hook while West brought in his usual rap A-game for the hit song.

Since then, the artists have jointly featured on "Gorgeous," "All of the Lights," "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1," "Christian Dior Denim Flow," "Erase Me," "Make Her Say," "G.O.O.D. Friday," and "Welcome to the World."

To cap their years of collaboration, Cudi and West jointly released an album, "Kid Sees Ghost" in 2018, which gathered rave reviews from fans and critics alike at the time.

Cudi Doesn't Care About His Exemption From West's Album

Cudi reacted to Kanye's statements in the post's comment section shortly after its release. "Too bad I don't wanna be on ur album u f*ckin dinosaur hahaha," he wrote with a laughing emoji. "Everyone knows I've been the best thing about ur albums since I met u. Ima pray [for u] brother."

Despite the beef between the artists, fans can still expect "Donda 2" to have an array of stars. West was recorded alongside ASAP Rocky, The Game, Pusha T, and football player Antonio Brown in an Instagram video uploaded by fashion-designer Tracey Mills. Producers Mike Dean and DJ Premier were also spotted working in the studio in the footage,

All things being equal, West plans to drop the album on February 22, per an Instagram post he made last month.
