Eilish's gesture at her convert brings to mind Scott's controversy at his Astroworld Festival when things went awry after chaos erupted amongst the crowd leading to nine deaths and several injuries.

Elish was largely praised by those online for her kind actions, with many fans believing she was throwing shade at Scott with her statement.

The "Praise God" rapper shared a screenshot of a blog headline that alleged Eilish insulted Scott at her concert and demanded an apology in the accompanying caption. Kanye wrote:

COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED.

The Yeezy founder then dropped a bomb, saying Scott would join him to perform at Coachella, but his performance won't happen if the "Bad Guy" singer doesn't apologize. "NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM," Kanye added.

However, in a shocking twist of events, another petition rose last month demanding that Scott be returned to the lineup for Coachella 2023. Scott's fans, who are known as Ragers, asked that it's either he is added to the lineup for 2023 or allowed to join Ye on stage at this year's festival.

The online petition, which was started by a superfan named James Connors, got over 70,000 signatures in the space of four days, breaking records. However, it's unsure if the organizers of the music festival will listen to fans' pleas.
