Billie Eilish Assists A Fan At Concert
As The Blast previously reported, over the weekend, Eilish held a concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of the “Happier Than Ever” world tour. During the performance, the Los Angeles native noticed one of the concertgoers was having difficulty breathing.
Eilish paused her concert and attended to the distressed fans, approaching her to ask some questions and instructing her crew to hand her an inhaler. Eilish gave the fan the inhaler and observed her get stable while asking the rest of the crowd to give her some space.
After making sure the concertgoer was good, Eilish sent her some love and then addressed the situation with a speech to the crowd, saying, “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”
The heartwarming moment was captured on video and has since gone viral. Eilish is no stranger to helping struggling fans during her concerts, as was the case in 2021 during the Governors Ball Festival when she dramatically stopped her show to help a concertgoer in need.
Eilish’s gesture at her convert brings to mind Scott’s controversy at his Astroworld Festival when things went awry after chaos erupted amongst the crowd leading to nine deaths and several injuries.
Elish was largely praised by those online for her kind actions, with many fans believing she was throwing shade at Scott with her statement.
Kanye West Demands Apology From Eilish
Days after Eilish’s viral moment, rapper West took to social media to call her out for seemingly dissing Scott. Eilish and Ye are set to perform as both headliners at the upcoming 2022 Coachella in April.
The “Praise God” rapper shared a screenshot of a blog headline that alleged Eilish insulted Scott at her concert and demanded an apology in the accompanying caption. Kanye wrote:
COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED.
The Yeezy founder then dropped a bomb, saying Scott would join him to perform at Coachella, but his performance won’t happen if the “Bad Guy” singer doesn’t apologize. “NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM,” Kanye added.
The post received mixed reactions from fans. Some fans praised Kanye for trying to foster peace, and others claimed Eilish had a reputation for starting up trouble. Other internet users slammed Kanye for starting trouble where there was none.
Eilish Fires Back At Ye
Shortly after Ye’s post, Eilish responded to his request, shutting down the allegations. She wrote, “literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan.”

Her comment has since received over 20,000 likes, with many fans showing her support. One user wrote, “u don’t even have to mind this “I need attention” specimen. U did what u needed to do for ur fans, and nobody’s opinion is needed or asked for!”
Another netizen added, “there’s a reason he feels attacked by it. Think on that.” Others took the time to shade Kanye, with one fan noting, “I mean, would any of us be upset that he doesn’t perform??”
As you might know, Travis was speculated to perform at this year’s Coachella before the Astroworld tragedy, causing angered fans to sign a petition, asking for the organizers to kick him off.
However, in a shocking twist of events, another petition rose last month demanding that Scott be returned to the lineup for Coachella 2023. Scott’s fans, who are known as Ragers, asked that it’s either he is added to the lineup for 2023 or allowed to join Ye on stage at this year’s festival.
The online petition, which was started by a superfan named James Connors, got over 70,000 signatures in the space of four days, breaking records. However, it’s unsure if the organizers of the music festival will listen to fans’ pleas.
