"Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause recently addressed rumors about her romantic involvement with "Shang-Chi's" Simu Liu in an episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."

PEOPLE shared that a viewer asked Stause during the episode's "After Show" if she ever had a romantic connection to the Marvel actor before or after selling him his recent house.

The caller suggested that there seemed to be a spark between the real estate agent and the actor, but the reality star had a few things to say about that.

Stause said she had gotten many questions about whether she had a thing with Liu, but she revealed that they were just friends. The show's host quickly interrupted her and probed if they were friends with benefits, to which Stause responded:

"No, I promise! No one ever believes me, but no."

She then described the 32-year-old actor as lovely and amazing before affirming again that he was just a friend. Liu keeps a low dating profile while Stause is currently single, following the split from Jason Oppenheim.

The soap opera star and her ex still love each other, and they remained best friends after the breakup. In her memoir, "Under Construction," she detailed their relationship but not their split.

Stause also mentioned in an interview that Oppenheim was her biggest fan during the publishing process.

The Blast previously reported that the 40-year-old announced the duo's separation in December, six months after publicizing their romance.

Her original plan was to keep the breakup private because she feared society's discrimination. However, she revealed that they both had different perceptions of starting a family, hence their separation.

It is no news that Stause has always wanted to have kids, but despite the success of her relationship with Oppenheim, he didn't share the same desire.

The "All My Children" Actress Relives Toxic Relationship With Exes In Memoir

Stause talked about her previous relationships in her memoir. She compared her marriage to Justin Hartley with her relationship with Kep Motsepe.

The Blast shared that she opined that both men were manipulative, and she mostly had hurtful memories of them. She and Hartley were married for two years after dating for four years, while her relationship with Motsepe lasted for three months.

Stause wrote in her book that when a person was in love, it was pretty hard to convince the person about how bad the relationship was, even if there were glaring signs.

The statement described her relationship with Hartley, which she admitted to learning from the experience. Stause further wrote that she was still a work in progress when it came to love.

Being in two toxic relationships taught the star that she was worthy of love and better treatment. Fortunately for her, she later became involved with the loving Oppenheim; however, that didn't last long.

Chrishell Stause Was Unbothered About Hartley's Marriage Following Their Divorce

In 2021, The Blast reported that Hartley married Sofia Pernas in a private ceremony. They dated for a year, following his messy divorce from Stause.

The "This Is Us" star's rush to the altar following the divorce was allegedly surprising to his former wife; however, she claimed to be unbothered with the news. The actress turned realtor stated on her Instagram story:

"I see ‘sources’ are speaking for me. If I have something to say, I will say it here. If it’s not my page, it didn’t come from me."

The ex-couples began dating in 2014 when they were soap opera actors, and their romance became quite known among fans. Later in 2016, they got engaged after Hartley got his role in "This Is Us."

In 2017, the couple married, which was the second for Hartley as he was previously married to Lindsay Korman. At the time, Stause was pretty excited to be a wife and stepmom to the actor's daughter, Isabela.

Their marriage appeared like a fairytale, but there was trouble within closed doors that led to their divorce two years later. In an episode of "Selling Sunset," Stause weepily opened up about the divorce.

Hartley reportedly sent her a text to call it quits, but she didn't take it seriously until there was an announcement about their imminent divorce.

The actress revealed that she was surprised about the divorce because she believed things were good between them.
