'Jersey Shore' Star Angelina Pivarnick's Husband Files Divorce After 2 Years Of Marriage

'Jersey Shore' star Angelina Pivarnick's husband, Chris Larangeira, has filed for divorce after just over 2 years of marriage.

According to court documents filed in New Jersey, the reality star filed to end his relationship with the 'Jersey Shore' star on January 22, 2022. If it sounds familiar, Angelina was the first one to pull the trigger on ending the couple's marriage, but reconciled with Larangeira, before the legal case was finalized.

The new filing comes less than a year after Pivarnick filed her own legal documents, to officially end the couple's marriage. Interestingly, around the same time, the new case was filed Angelina announced she was taking a break from social media to spend more time with her family.

Rumors of a possible breakup swirled after fans pointed out that Pivarnick's husband was absent from her recent family holiday pictures. According to reports, the couple's original divorce was dismissed after neither party followed through on the court case. Typically, if a couple doesn't respond or finalize a divorce, a judge can throw the case out due to the lack of movement.

The case was dismissed for "lack of prosecution without prejudice."

Weeks following the first divorce filing, Angelina opened up about saving her marriage, saying, "I said to myself, ‘I am not going to get divorced. I am going to try everything that I can in my power to save my marriage, no matter what it is."

She continued, "It’s been very hard. Hard is just an understatement. The whole entire thing, since the day he moved out and came back in, it’s just been a whirlwind of craziness for both of us."

It should be noted, the couple faced publicly discussed issues including accused infidelity on both sides, and Larangeira's decision to move out of the couple's home.

At the time, the couple had reconciled and "was doing very well." The Sun reports the couple was in "the best place they've ever been."

"Filming for the new season is going great so far, and Angelina has made sure to let production know that she and Chris are together. The cast is expecting to take a trip somewhere in October and Angelina has insisted that Chris be with her when they travel," the outlet added.

In the past few months, the couple has undergone couple's therapy and Angelina was clear with him it wasn't a negotiable thing in their relationship.

"That was it for me. If he wasn’t going to go to therapy with me, I was done," she said. Adding, "At first, he really didn’t want to go to therapy. It was like pulling teeth. Eventually, you’ll see this season that I was like, ‘Listen, if you don’t go with me, it’s done. It’s over.’ He realized, ‘I have to go.’"

As you know, the couple married in front of MTV cameras in 2019. The extravagant wedding was portrayed on Season 3 of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' and co-stars Snooki, Deena, and JWoww were bridesmaids. If you remember, the drunken reception speech by the girls went down in reality show history.

Neither Angelina nor Chris has officially addressed the ongoing divorce.
