Coming off the success of his role as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man in "Spider-Man: No Way Home," Tom Holland delved right into his next role in "Uncharted," an adventure film that is set for release on February 17th.

While filming, Holland quickly built a good relationship with his co-star, Mark Wahlberg. He did admit that he was initially intimidated by Wahlberg and his experience, but he overcame it.

On his part, Wahlberg said that Holland eventually became "a good little brother" to him. Read on to find out what the two actors have said about their time together on the set of "Uncharted."

Holland Said That Wahlberg Is 'Tough As Nails'

Tom Holland made waves worldwide for his fantastic performance in "Spider-Man: No Way Home," and there is a high chance that he will play the spidery superhero in any future Marvel projects.

During an interview with ET Canada, Holland was asked what he thought about the idea of Wahlberg playing a Spider-Man villain against him in any future movies, and he admitted that the idea was a bit intimidating.

He said, "No, I would never want to go up against Mark Wahlberg. He is like, he's actually tough as nails." This is in line with Wahlberg's reputation for being a tough and dedicated actor in any role he takes on.

Wahlberg Said He Enjoyed Being A Tough Older Brother To Holland

Wahlberg grew up in a big family as the youngest of nine kids. So, he admitted that when he heard that his tough demeanor on set intimidated Holland, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being the tough big brother.

During the ET Canada interview, he said, "Well, that's good. That's good because I'm the big brother. And you know what, I never got to be the big brother. I was always the little brother, so I was always kind of picked on and treated badly by my brothers."

He Also Said That Holland Is A Go-Getter

Wahlberg also said that he has always been a go-getter since he was a child, despite being the youngest kid. Then, he said that Holland also has that same spirit and fierce drive and applauded him for it.

He said, "I was always feisty and nipping at the heels, and Tom was the same way. He wasn't afraid to the point where he wouldn't try to, you know to really step up. Especially when we were improvising and really kind of going at it."

Wahlberg added that Holland was a formidable opponent for him on "Uncharted," that he did an excellent job on the film, and that the "Cherry" actor was a "good little brother to have for sure."

'Uncharted' Features Holland And Wahlberg As Treasure Hunters

Asides from Holland and Wahlberg, "Uncharted" has a star-studded cast that includes actors like Antonio Banderas, Tati Gabrielle, and Sophia Taylor Ali. The film is based on the famous video game of the same name, which follows the adventures of treasure hunter Nathan Drake as he tracks his long-lost brother Sam and Magellan's gold treasure.

The official synopsis reads, "Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (played by Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan (played by Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago."

"What starts as a heist job becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Banderas.) If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world's oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate's long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together."
