Rihanna And Shia LaBeouf Both Expecting Babies, Years After Relationship

Rihannaand Shia LaBeouf are expecting their first kids with their partners, and everyone is celebrating with them. The exciting thing about the news is that the two celebs are reportedly exes. They once went on a date back in 2007, but things didn’t work out, and they’ve been friends ever since. 

Now, more than a decade later, Rihanna is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend and rapper A$AP Rocky, while LaBeouf’s fiancee, actress Mia Goth is pregnant with their first child. Read on to learn more about the pregnancies and the history that the two celebrities share. 

On January 31st, Rihanna revealed that she was pregnant through an exclusive TMZ post that included pictures of her and A$AP Rocky taking a stroll in Harlem, New York. In the photos, Rihanna showed off her baby bump in an open long pink coat while holding hands with her boyfriend in the snow. 

In May 2021, A$AP Rocky spoke about his relationship with the “What Now” singer and beauty mogul during an interview with GQ magazine. He said, “I think when you know, you know. She’s the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.” 

He was also asked about his thoughts regarding fatherhood and if he was ready to become a parent, and he said, “If that’s in my destiny, absolutely. I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.”

Just a few days before TMZ announced Rihanna’s pregnancy, People published photos of Goth showing off her rounded belly while running errands in Pasadena, California, effectively telling the world that she and LaBeouf are pregnant with their first child.

The two actors had an on and off relationship since 2012, got married in 2016 at an 

Elvis-themed wedding in Vegas and later filed for divorce in 2018. Later in 2020, they seemingly reconciled as they were spotted wearing their wedding rings several times. 

Rihanna and LaBeouf’s pregnancy announcements came within days of the other, but that is not the only connection between the two. Asides from being highly successful in their own regards, they also once went on a date and were rumored to be in a relationship. 

In 2007, the two were spotted together dining at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. LaBeouf later explained that they had a very brief romance, and their relationship never went far. According to MTV News, he said “It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”

LaBeouf and Rihanna also each have an extensive dating history. In 2009, he dated actress Carey Mulligan for about a year and subsequently met Goth while filming “Nymphomaniac.” After they split in 2020, LaBeouf dated FKA Twigs for some time before they separated due to their different work schedules. 

On the other hand, Rihanna has a more high-profile dating history. She started dating singer Chris Brown in 2008 and ended their relationship when he physically assaulted her in 2009 on the Grammy Award night. After that, she dated rapper and singer Drake on and off for several years.

From 2010 to 2015, Rihanna was romantically linked to several stars such as Ryan Phillipe, actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and rapper Travis Scott. Before she started dating A$AP Rocky, her last relationship was with Saudi Arabian businessman Hassan Jameel, whom she dated for three years.
