Brown's polygamous lifestyle is not a secret anymore and has even attracted so much attention to TLC. Alongside his wives and children, the reality star started living in Lehi, Utah, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2011.

Seven years later, the family moved to an unincorporated township of Baderville, Arizona. The family appeared on headlines recently, and the funny thing is Brown's behavior amid the marital problems.

Recent Scandals

Since the show's debut on September 26, 2010, it has been full of dramatic moments within the family. Ardent fans of the show know that there's a bit of tension between Brown and his four wives.

There are reports of struggles between the wives and their respective families since late 2021/early 2022. One of the major scandals is Christine announcing the dissolution of her marriage with Brown after twenty-five years of marriage.

Christine confirmed the divorce news on her Instagram, claiming that she and her ex-husband had grown apart, but it does not hinder her support for the family. In the sixteenth season, things only became more intense for the family.

His relationship with Robyn grew so close while things became rough between him and the other wives. To the viewers, they were watching two different stories. One was Robyn and Brown's; the other was Brown and the other family members.

Issues Around Brown And Robyn's Close Relationship

A viewer noted that almost all the scenes in the series showed Brown, Robyn, and their kids. Another fan made a sarcastic comment, asking Brown if his only obligation was to be with Robyn's children.

People are concerned about the current status of Brown's relationships because the news from a trusted source is that the only thriving relationship is his union with Robyn and her kids. Could it be that a split is coming?

Viewers claimed that he spent so much time with Robyn while others are left in their world to live their lives. According to US Weekly, Brown deliberately spent more time in the holidays with Robyn than with the others.

The Negative Effect Of His Sudden Closeness With Robyn

The source from US Weekly said that the families were very much separated during the holidays. The insider added that Brown's sudden closeness to Robyn and her kids had damaged his relationship with other families.

The kids from other families are solely leaning on their moms and older siblings instead of him. On "Sister Wives," it was revealed as though Brown placed a Covid-19 restriction on the families, which prompted them to celebrate the holidays separately.

Christine, his ex-wife, and Janelle spent the thanksgiving season away from the family's drama while Robyn was venting her frustrations due to the restrictions. People perceived the tension resulting from his and Christine's split.

Post-Divorce Events Within The Family

The timeline of scandalous events within the Browns can be attributed to Brown and Christine's split. Janelle described the current situation as 'strained' during one of the episodes of "Sister Wives" in January 2022.

Janelle said the recent events made her reflect once again and considered a self-evaluation on whether she wanted to be in a plural marriage. She confessed that she wanted it but had to remind herself that she had made the decision.

The family agreed to be on the show because they felt that it could serve as an awareness to the public to get rid of societal prejudices. Brown's polygamy comprises of legal marriage (with Robyn) and three spiritual unions (with Christine, Meri, and Janelle).
