The "Sister Wives" Star Breaks Silence After Split

After the Brown couples split, Christine finally took to Instagram to break her silence regarding her separation.

They weren't legally married, but they had kids, of which only one is still a minor. This means gaining custody won't be much of a problem for them.

According to The Blast, the TLC star was the one who revealed the news of her separation from Kody. She expressed how difficult it was for her to leave the marriage, but she had to make that difficult decision.

However, the former couple would continue to be supportive and be present in each other's lives because of their children. Christine then asked for the grace of her fans and their kindness as she and her family went through that phase.

Kody expressed sadness over this unfortunate event and said she decided to leave the marriage despite enjoying many good years together.

He admitted that even though they would be moving on separate paths, they would always be committed parents.

It had always been a struggle for the 49-year-old reality star, as Kody wasn't always supportive during the marriage. Fans showed happiness for her and admitted she made the right decision as she deserved better.

Another Brown Wife Gets Candid About Marital Problems

Kody and his spouses seemed to go through a bit of strain in December, following his divorce drama.

The Blast shared that on the Christmas episode of "The Sister Wives," Robyn, one of the wives, spoke honestly about how Kody's marital problems took a toll on her.

Due to the pandemic, the Brown family had a meeting to discuss how they would adjust to the COVID-19 guidelines. Although they had reason to believe Robyn was behind the strict rules.

Robyn denied these accusations, and she revealed through tears how absurd it was for her family to believe such, as her husband wasn't the type to be controlled by any of his spouses.

The severe COVID rules imposed by Kody have led to conflict within the family, and the 43-year-old revealed that this would lead to the family falling apart.

The meeting was depressing as Robyn and Meri, the first wife, had a weepy discussion later. Janelle, the second wife, found the rules too strict, which led to her saying she would be absent on Thanksgiving.

Robyn was previously married to Christine's cousin and Kody's third cousin, David Jessop, while Janelle was married to Meri's brother for two years but had no kids of her own.
