Actor Dwayne Johnson is opening up about just one of his many secrets to success.

The California-born talent got his start as a wrestler, where he earned the moniker “The Rock,” which has followed him throughout his career. Last year, he starred in Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” and the Netflix crime comedy, “Red Notice,” which is currently the number one most-watched film on the streaming service.

In addition to serving as both an actor and a producer, Johnson is also an entrepreneur. Among his many business ventures, he has started a gluten-free tequila line called Teremana tequila, and an energy drink called ZOA Energy, which he recently said was the best-selling energy drink on Amazon.

So how has Johnson achieved so much in such a short time? It all comes down to his state of mind!

On Instagram, Johnson posted a series of sweaty snaps of him in the gym, wearing a navy blue shirt with the words “Respect the Grind.”

“Late night grind, gratitude & growth,” he wrote in the caption. In one of the photos, he’s wearing a blue hoodie that has the logo of his production studio, Seven Bucks Productions, emblazoned on his chest. In yellow font, underneath a drawing of a buck, it says “Grind – Gratitude – Growth.”

“I’ll share a little philosophy with you guys that’s helped me achieve some success over the years,” he continued.

“When it comes to hard work and things I’m passionate about - years ago, I stopped saying ‘I have to’ and started saying ‘I get to’,” he explained.

“Big psychological shift on how you approach the daily grind of s--- we gotta get done,” he added alongside a checkmark emoji.

“I ‘get to’ train hard and push myself to the breaking point,” he went on. “I ‘get to’ get my a—kicked and come back stronger. I ‘get to’ be the hardest worker in the f---ing room.”

“Because when you ‘get to’ do the things you love – it’s a privilege,” he added.

He encouraged his fans to “Try switching ‘have to’ to ‘get to’ and start to feel that grind, gratitude & growth.”

“I’ll see you there,” he wrote. He tagged @projectrock and included the hashtags #earngreatness, #sevenbucks, and #1995, which was the year his production company was started.

Fans lit up the post with fire emojis, including his ZOA energy drink brand, who commented with three clap hands emojis. News site Upwrothy wrote “Broooo.”

“It’s about drive it’s about power we stay hungry we devour,” one fan wrote, quoting the lyrics to Tech N9ne’s song “Face Off,” which featured Joey Cool, King Iso, and Johnson himself.

Johnson Knows How To Work Hard & He Knows When To Unwind!

Johnson is known for crushing it in the gym and nailing his nutrition, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t allow for a cheat meal every now and then. Johnson has a history of epic cheat meals, and Johnson makes sure to give his fans a glimpse of what he calls “DJ Heaven.”

In his last cheat meal, Johnson snapped a photo of a giant plate of sushi, a few large cookies, and a cold glass of Teremana tequila to kick back while he was watching the game.

“Sunday cheat meal heaven,” he wrote.

“Sushi train express, homemade chocolate chip, peanut butter cookies, frosted @Teremana Anejo, My @NFL,” he continued. “This is what I call ‘DJ HEAVEN.’”

“*but, the jokes on me though,” Johnson added. “as I went to three different locations around the house so I could watch the game in peace and quiet - and I ended up settling in to watch the game where the dogs sleeps.”

“And now he’s barking at me too,” Johnson added. “Un-f---ing-believable,” he wrote alongside a laughing face emoji.

“Enjoy your cheat meals, my friends!” he concluded. He followed it up with the hashtag #djheaven and the emojis for sushi, a cookie, and a football.

Coach and Sports Nutrition Consultant George Farah hopped on the post to say “Remember everyone home made is the key here. Choose right even with your cheat meal.”

Even Bear Grylls hopped on the post to comment, saying, “And what a meal! Improvise, adapt and overcome.”
