Larsa Pippen Is Barring Herself From Dating Athletes

Larsa Pippen must be a massive fan of the Backstreet Boys’ song, “Quit Playin’ Games With My Heart.”

She is sick and tired of the players that are gonna play, and she’s doing the most to avoid dating an athlete.

The former wife of NBA star, Scottie Pippen, has revealed that she is doing everything in her power to steer clear of any ballers.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star said, “I’m trying to avoid athletes.”

She continued, “I feel like I’ve been in the basketball world for so long that I feel like I’m just surrounded by that world.”

It’s true!

Larsa was married to Pippen from 1997 to 2021; however, they filed for divorce in 2018.

The former couple have four children together: Scotty Jr., 21, Preston, 19, Justin, 16, and Sophia, 13.

The reality TV star revealed that she is “not dating anyone right now.”

She hopes to get away from the NBA dating scene and find someone outside of that world.

Larsa gave the following analogy for her dating life, “It’s almost like a nurse and a doctor, right? So, if you’re a nurse and you’ve worked in a hospital, you’re more likely to have friends that are doctors. It’s not like I go look for it. It’s just there, you know?”

Since filing for divorce in 2018, Larsa has definitely dipped her feet into the dating pool, but as you can guess, it’s only been with basketball players.

She had a very brief, but very public romance with Minnesota Timberwolves player Malik Beasley in 2020.

Unfortunately for Larsa, he was still married to Montana Yao.

Larsa told Us Weekly she kind of “regrets” the four-month relationship.

“I don’t wanna give too much life to my past relationship,” she admitted. “I just think you learn from all your mistakes. You grow every day, and I just feel like I’m in a better place today than I was yesterday.”

Larsa also claimed to have dated Tristan Thompson before Khloe Kardashian, which contributed to her split from the famous family.

In June 2020 things seemed to sour between the former besties.

Khloe Kardashian rang in her 36th birthday, but Larsa was nowhere in sight. Typically, she’d make an appearance on social media.

By July 2020, diehard fans noticed Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian had unfollowed Larsa on social media.

Months later, Larsa appeared on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast and aired ALL of their dirty laundry. During the interview, she revealed her past romantic fling with Khloe’s then-boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.

Larsa said she dated Tristan before he started seeing Khloe.

"I had him come to LA. I brought him to a party Kim had. I introduced him to all of them. And then a week later, maybe 10 days later, he started seeing Khloé, which is fine. I don't even care."

She added, "I'm the type of person I don't chase what's not for me. I will never chase a man. I will never, like, put a leash on a man. I don't do that. I feel like, let you be great. If you want to be with other people, go ahead. I'm great by myself."

In the same interview, Larsa accused Kanye West of "brainwashing" her friends and turning them against her because he “threatened.”

“I just feel like Kanye was in a place where he, you know, he really didn't trust anyone with Kim," Larsa said. "So, I feel like I was the person that was like, 'Oh, like, don't be so close to her because you're so close to her' that, you know, that kind of had something to do with it. If your husband feels, like, threatened by my relationship with you, then I don't want to be that person.”

She also said that the rap/fashion mogul would call her "when he wanted to rant" and claimed she "was his go-to person to call when he wasn't happy with X, Y and Z."

It was messy to say the least and by the end of it all a source for the KarJenner family called her out for being “toxic energy.”
