The Grammy Awards are typically held at the start of the year. Unfortunately, the 64th annual Grammy Awards had to postpone its original January date due to the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases which have been devastating to the entertainment industry.
The 2022 Grammy Awards have since been rescheduled, and will now air the star-studded awards ceremony on Sunday, April 3.

The Country Music Awards had originally been scheduled to host their award ceremony on Sunday, April 3 as well. However, they will be shifting their date to later in April in order to make room for the Grammy Awards. This would have been the first time that the CMT Music Awards would have aired on CBS.
Although some fans were disappointed that the CMT Music Awards would be pushed back a few weeks, many are glad that they are finally going to be able to watch the Grammy Awards after months of waiting.
There is still no word about what will happen with Grammy-nominated artist Billie Eilish, who has a tour date in Phoenix, Arizona, scheduled for the same date.
