Dave Coulier Recounts Meeting Bob Saget In Emotional Post
On Thursday, January 13, Coulier updated his Instagram page with a carousel of throwback images of him and Saget.
In one of the images, the “Full House” co-stars looked comfortable in a golf cart. Another hilarious picture was of them dressed in women’s undergarments while holding hands.
Another image from a 1992 article included biographies covering the comedic personalities during their “Full House” era. In his captions, Coulier detailed meeting Saget at the age of 18, he recounted:
“I didn’t know then that two, struggling standup comics would end up being brothers forever. “I wish I could lean on you right now through all these tears. I love you.”
Hollywood was rocked with the news that Saget had unexpectedly passed away. The star was found unresponsive by security at the Ritz-Carlton.
Shortly after the overwhelming news broke, The Blast shared that Coulier took to his Twitter account to express his grief.
“The Family Holiday” actor tweeted about his eternal love for his colleague turned brother, writing, “My heart is broken. I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave.”
Coulier also posted an emotional photo of him and the deceased comedian on Instagram. The two were seen cheerfully holding hands at a red carpet event.
The camaraderie between the actors was on full display as their hands were interlocked. Even though Saget has passed, Coulier wrote, “I’ll never let go, brother. Love you.”
The buddies were cast in the popular sitcom “Full House.” Saget played the patriarch Danny Tanner while Coulier starred as Joey Gladstone, his closest childhood friend.
The stars also reprised their iconic roles in the Netflix reboot of the series titled “Fuller House.” Other members from the series also mourned Saget’s passing, including John Stamos.
Also missed by the late comedian are the Olsen twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley, who played his adorable TV children.

In a statement, they credited Saget as “the most loving, compassionate and generous man,” adding that they found comfort knowing he would remain by their side.
Another TV offspring, Candance Cameron-Bure, who played his oldest daughter, admitted, on social media, to feeling speechless over his sudden death.
The “Full House” actress praised Saget to be “one of the best humans beings” she has ever known in her life.
On Sunday, January 9, Saget passed away after he was discovered unmoving at his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida.
The star’s passing was a shock to the world due to his energetic nature. He also expressed his pleasure about the success of his Florida tour, on social media, in the early hours of that Sunday.
Authorities arrived on the scene around 4 pm and found the comedian unconscious, then declared him dead on the scene.
According to The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, there were no signs of drug use or struggle for the “How I Met Your Mother” actor.
The Late “Fuller House” Actor’s Wife Speaks Up On His Death
After his comedy show in Florida, Saget spoke to his wife, Kelly Rizzo, on the phone hours before he gave up the ghost, and he was in a great mood.
The Blast revealed multiple reports showing that the late star dialed his wife “in the early morning hours of Sunday” after ending his 2-hour stand-up show in Jacksonville.
The iconic comedian “was so excited coming off a great show and sounded happy.” He arranged for a late check-out and was scheduled to fly home the next day.
When Rizzo got no word from her spouse when he was supposed to head to the airport, she called the airport, and security went to check on him.
Saget was found “cold to the touch” with an arm on his chest and back. Investigations point to a possible stroke or a heart attack. In an emotional statement, Rizzo expressed,
“Bob was my absolute everything. I am so completely shattered and in disbelief. I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, his fans, and his peers.”
The loving wife admitted that when the time is right, and the news of Saget’s passing is no longer raw, she would share more of him with the world.
