On Tuesday, The Blast reported on the interview and through tears, Jamie Lynn could be seen saying, “I love my sister.”

Britney and Jamie Lynn have not had a close relationship in years, despite what JL has said in the past.

The “Slave 4 U” singer has bashed her family on numerous occasions since getting out of her 13-year conservatorship.

Back during a June court hearing, Britney revealed the personal hell she was experiencing under the court-ordered conservatorship.

She told the judge, “I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive. There are thousands of abusive conservatorships.”

Prior to having Mathew Rosengart represent her, she claimed her former lawyer and family had been lying to her for. Years and asked for new legal representation.

She was later given the freedom to appoint Rosengart, which was a massive win for Brit.

Britney’s conservatorship was terminated in November 12, 2021.

Now, Jamie Lynn is speaking out.

‘GMA’ anchor Juju Chang asked JL, “What was your reaction when the conservatorship was dissolved?”

The former Nickelodeon star said, “I was happy.  First off, I don’t understand… when it was put into place I was 17-years-old, I was about to have a baby. So, I didn’t understand what was happening nor was I focused on that. I was focused on the fact that I was 17-years-old about to have a baby. I understand just as little about it then as I do now.”

She then explained the role she played in the conservatorship.

“There was a time when my sister asked me of her trust and will if I would be the person who was sure her boys got what they needed. Whether she’s in a conservatorship or not, that was a very normal thing, I thought,” she revealed. “Once I realized, ‘You know what, she’s in a conservatorship,’ I felt like I didn’t want to be a part of until she was maybe out of the conservatorship.”

Jamie Lynn explained there was never a moment when she oversaw funds, and if that was ever the impression Britney was under, it was a ‘misunderstanding.’

Plain and simple, “Either way I took no steps to be a part of it [conservatorship].”

She then went on to explain how she gave Britney the ‘resources’ to end the conservatorship.

Very much like her summer Instagram Story where she vehemently defended her older sister, Jamie Lynn stands firm in her stance that she is Britney’s “biggest supporter.”

“I’ve always been my sister’s biggest supporter. So when she needed help, I set up ways to do so. I went out of my way to make sure that, um, she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship,” Jamie Lynn revealed.

She also noted that she spoke to Britney’s previous legal team and it “didn’t end well in my favor.”

Jamie Lynn continued to say, “I did take the steps to help, but how many times can I take the steps without, um, she has to walk through the door."
