Dog The Bounty Hunter is going full-blown digital, after signing a massive deal to turn his "persona" into multiple video games.
Duane 'Dog' Chapman is teaming up with 'Virtual Interactive Technologies' -- a multi-platform gaming company -- to develop and market a line of video games. We're told it is a multi-year deal, with a multi-game commitment to be rolled out over the next few months.
The company says the games will use "Mr. Chapman’s name, image, and likeness in connection with the advertisement, promotion, and sale of the video games." In other words, we should be expecting any awesome bounty hunting game to be on the horizon. In a press release announcing the deal, the gaming company touted Dog's huge following and loyal fan base, saying, "For more than a decade, Mr. Chapman has entertained his fans with multiple hit television series. In addition to capturing over 10,000 fugitives in his career, he has also captured millions of followers on social media."

The continued, "The team with Mr. Chapman to bring exciting and engaging titles to the video gaming market in the coming months and years and will leverage his social media and other public relations resources to bring awareness to the games."
Dog Chapmanis pumped about diving into the video game world and opened up about his new venture into gaming. "After years of sharing my life on television, I’m thrilled to bring my many stories and experiences to the video gaming environment. I’m delighted to be working with Virtual Interactive Technologies and their experienced team."
He added, "Collaborating with Dog and his team to help create unique experiences for our customers is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Company Says Working With Duane 'Dog' Chapman Is 'Once-In-A-Lifetime' Opportunity
CEO of Virtual Interactive Technologies, Jason Garber, is excited about the partnership, saying, "Dog’s successful career in reality TV and his widely recognized persona will provide us with exceptional content to build a number of exciting and engaging games."
As we reported, Dog joined the hunt for fugitive Brian Laundrie and built a team to search for him in Florida. At the time, Chapman received over 4,000 tips on his location using a hotline dedicated to the case. The reality star chartered a boat and searched the islands off the coast of Florida, and even tracked through the marshes looking for leads to his location. Obviously, clues gathered in the search, lead the team closer to his possible whereabouts. If you think about it, all of this could be turned into an outstanding video game.
Fans Will Get The Chance To Track Fugitives Like Dog The Bounty Hunter?!
The good news, there are hours of footage from Laundrie's search and years' worth of footage from 'Dog The Bounty Hunter.' Our guess is that the company will use this content as a basis for creating several interactive video games.
As for his personal life, Dog recently married his wife -- Francie Frane -- and has settled into a life with her in Colorado. The reality star recently paid tribute to her late husband, after both of them lost their respective spouses to cancer.
The bottom line, we can't wait for this one!
