Dog The Bounty is headed out of Florida after searching for Brian Laundrie for weeks, but it’s after the reality star received thousands of tips for the location of the suspect killer.
According to multiple reports, Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman is leaving Florida and headed back to his home state of Colorado after injuring himself again while on the hunt. As we reported, Dog busted his ankle while sloshing through a swampy area of south Florida.
Shockingly, the reality star says he received over 4,000 tips on the location of Brian Laundrie and is sifting through them to see if any of them could be a legit one. The bounty hunter isn’t giving up on the search but knows he can continue to work on the leads and share information with a team and law enforcement in Florida. The dog is planning on heading back to Florida, once his treatment for the ankle is finished. But, the move might be an indicator of something big going down with the case.

Remember, it is very possible that Dog is aware of information that hasn’t been reported to the public at this moment. Just in the past few hours, authorities announced that Brian’s parents joined the search in an area called Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park. After a brief search, the parents were seen by a reporter telling an officer that “they might have found something.”
According to reports, the FBI found items belonging to the fugitive, including articles of clothing and other belongings that are connected to Laundrie. The family’s attorney says his parents DID go to the park this morning and search a new area that hadn’t been explored. FBI and North Port police joined the family, and sure enough, they found evidence very quickly into their search.
Of course, this is a HUGE development considering the Laundrie family has been accused of either helping or knowing more than they led on to investigators about their son’s location. Plus, why haven’t they mentioned anything about this until now? And…how did they go to one location and find something so quickly? Questions are going to have to be answered on this one.
Brian Laundrie’s Parents Find Evidence After Arriving On Scene To Help Search
For now, several reports claim a large police presence is now in the area. And, the medical examiner is reportedly on the way to the location. This is a big deal, considering the coroner’s office normally only gets called when a body or some sort of remains are discovered.
According to a local news report, the area in which the items were discovered connects to the Carlton Reserve, a 25,000-acre swamp. Also, helicopters have spotted a tent being set up in the area, and cadaver dogs are being dispatched to the area. In other words, the search for a body might be why the medical examiner and dogs have responded to the location.
At this point, the parents and the FBL have not released what they found, but it appears to be a big break in the case.
