Dog The Bounty Hunter is paying tribute to his new wife’s former husband, who passed away several years ago after a bout with cancer.
Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman just posted an emotional message to his new wife promising to live up to the example set by her former husband. As you know, Dog recently married Francie Frane — a woman he met in Colorado while working on his property.
At the time, Dog was still dealing with the loss of his own wife — Beth Chapman — from throat cancer. It appears Dog and Francie have the utmost respect for each other’s former spouses, and Chapman just shared a picture of France and her husband that appears to still be up in the new couple’s home.

It’s an amazing message, considering these two found each other and are able to pay tribute to their former spouses with the support of their new husband/wife.
We broke the story, Dog struggled with his decision to get into a new relationship based on his long-term relationship with Beth Chapman. But, the new couple is religious and is relying on guidance from the church on how to navigate the confusing waters. In 2019, Beth died from cancer after being married to Dog for 13 years. Only six months earlier, Frane’s husband, Bob, died from the same disease.
As we reported, Dog and Francie tied the knot in September of this year, gathering their family and friends near their hometown in Colorado. The couple revealed the emotional process of dealing with their losses and starting a new relationship. “We hooked up on the phone and started talking to each other, crying and consoling each other,” Dog said at the time, adding, “Then, one thing led to another.”

Francie described it, “We have been doing that all along, We have done that privately, and in our vows, we will be honoring them. We honor them all of the time. And so we will continue to do that throughout their lives. Throughout our life together, we will continue to do that. They will be a part of that always.”
