Drake could make a FORTUNE if he would consider releasing his own series of NFT's, says fellow rapper Tory Lanez.
The rapper recently appeared on a 'The Nelk Boys'podcast to discuss his decision to jump into the "Non-Fungible Token" business -- joining other huge celebrities like Snoop Dogg.
During the interview, one of the hosts brought up the possible collaboration between the two artists, saying it would fetch at least $10 million. But, Tory responded to the comment saying, "If Drake comes to the platform right now, Drake could probably make $50 million."
Is Drake Considering Releasing NFT's?!
Last year, Tory Lanex dropped his first NFT album -- When It's Dark -- and reports claim a million copies sold in just 60 seconds. The rapper addressed the success on Instagram, saying, "Yes…yes…yes! Y’all got to understand what’s going on right now. I’m not gonna beg you to make this f---ing money. I sat there and I wondered for a long time how imma get back right. They took every single avenue away from me,” referring to his criminal case for allegedly shooting Meg Thee Stallion.
He continued, "I immediately went to praying. God show me a way. When the world is standing against me show me a different way."

As we reported, A-list celebrities are dropping HUGE money on NFT's including the popular 'Bored Apes.' Rapper Eminem just dropped $500,000 for the #9055 Ape with his company 'Shady Holdings.' The '8-Mile' rapper is deep in the NFT world, releasing his own collection with instrumental beats. The deal was a huge success with one of them selling for over $100,000. The drop included several unreleased Eminem-produced beats, crafted specifically for the occasion. The fan who purchased the beat rapped a tribute over it and posted it on YouTube, which has been viewed more than 13 million times.
"I’ve been collecting since I was a kid, everything from comic books to baseball cards to toys, as well as every rap album on cassette I could get my hands on,” he said. Adding, "Not much has changed for me as an adult. I’ve attempted to re-create some of those collections from that time in my life, and I know I’m not alone. I wanted to give this drop the same vibe of, ‘Oh, man I gotta get just that one or maybe even the whole set!’ It’s been a lot of fun coming up with ideas from my own collecting passion."
If Drake jumped into the NFT market, he would be joining celebrities like Jimmy Fallon, Post Malone, and Steph Curry -- who have all purchased 'Bored Apes.'
Interestingly, Lindsay Lohan is one of the celebrities who noticed the trend and jumped into the market. "It’s only a matter of time till everyone in Hollywood and beyond gets involved...I see a future where crypto, NFTs, and blockchain will be the norm, rather than the exception," she told Forbes.
