The Kardashian Family Cancels Christmas Due To COVID-19 Variant Outbreak!

The Kardashian family is canceling their massive Christmas Eve party due to concerns over the Omicron variant spreading throughout the country.

The Kardashian-Jenner Klan was set to host another star-studded Christmas bash but released it would most likely be a super-spreader event if they kept it on the calendar. According to reports, Kris Jenner decided to "hold off" on the celebration, which appears to be a sign for the party being rescheduled.

Instead, the family will still get together but will keep it to all the Kardashian kids and Jenner's grandchildren. Interestingly, the family is getting together with just "immediate family" and it's unclear if Kanye West and Tristan Thompson got the invite. Our guess is that considering Thompson's recent baby scandal, and Kim's new hook-up Pete Davidson -- we are guessing they were left off the list.

Now, it's possible the 'SNL' does get an invite, considering he is new to the family and reports indicate that the momager and matriarch of the family really like him. As we reported, Kim was spotted leaving Davidson's apartment in the morning following a night out in Staten Island. A few days later, Davidson was spotted driving Kim's Rolls Royce while out shopping for jewelry. It's possible he is still in Los Angeles with the reality star.

Unfortunately, this is the second time the family was forced to cancel their Christmas shindig -- considering the COVID-19 pandemic hit before 2020's holiday season.

"The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year," Khloe Kardashian said at the time. Adding, "It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must."

If you didn't know, The Kardashians Christmas party has played host to some of the biggest celebrities in the world including Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Dave Chappelle, Chrissy Teigen, Toni Braxton, and more.

Interesting, Kim Kardashian showed off inside the family home which still includes a stocking for Kanye West. At this point, it's unclear if Kanye is allowed to spend Christmas Day with them in Hidden Hills, or if custody changes and he will have the kids at his Malibu Beach house.

As we reported, Kanye has been on a massive campaign to win Kim Kardashian back, but it isn't working. We broke the story, Kim filed legal documents asking a court to expedite making her single -- even though the divorce isn't completely settled. In other words, she wants to be divorced and there is no reconciliation happening. In the filing, Kim points out that the couple has been to counseling, but that didn't work.

Either way, one thing is for certain, the cameras will be rolling! Party or Not!
