Singer Billie Eilish turned 20 on Saturday along with a host of other celebrities. Although fans celebrated by blasting all her best hits, Eilish seemed to enjoy a simple birthday. On Sunday, she posted the photo of a cake to her Instagram account, along with a bouncy house covered in lights.

The "Bad Guy" singer has made a lot of headlines lately, from her opening monologue on "Saturday Night Live" to her "Santa Song" skit. She also revealed that she was "so angry at" herself after discussing her porn addiction, which started when she was only 11 years old.

Adult actor Randy Spears, 60, has appeared in over a thousand adult films from 1987 to 2011. In an interview with TMZ, Spears applauded Eilish for speaking out against the porn industry.

“When we’re that young, our brains don’t have the capacity to digest that,” he explained. “Who in their right mind would want their 7-year-old daughter or son watching some women with seven guys? It’s… it’s pretty despicable stuff and if your brain is still growing, and you have very little life experience as an adult in the world, and you’re trying to digest that and make sense of that… I can see how exactly how she can feel that way.”

“She’s the kind of person that has a lot of guys, actually, to come up and speak her mind on an issue like this,” he continued. “I applaud her for it. Maybe it will do some good somewhere down the line. Maybe she’ll turn into being able to help people who are addicted to pornography…cause it’s a real thing, believe me, and it is quite damaging when it is.”

“I would recommend Billie moves forward and maybe uses her fame to start a platform to help young girls who are affected by this sort of thing, or young men,” he added. “There is nowhere to go for this kind of thing and it’s a very real addiction and it can be very damaging to a young person.”

New York Sexual Addiction Founder Weighs In

According to Brad Salman, founder of the New York Sexual Addiction Center, it is common for children to be exposed to pornography at such a young age.

“Parents aren’t paying attention and it [porn exposure] can affect them for the rest of their lives,” Salzman said. “It totally colors their perception of what normal sexuality is supposed to look like and it changes the way they think that they’re supposed to interact. They can begin seeing other people as sex objects as opposed to human beings.”

A clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at Cornell UniversityZiv Cohen, agreed with Salzman, saying, “For young children to be exposed [to porn] gives them a very skewed and inaccurate image of sex. It’s not positive for their perception of intimacy and the opposite sex.”
