Brad Pitt Dealing With 'Difficult' Custody Situation On His 58th Birthday

Brad Pitt is currently dealing with a "difficult situation" involving custody of his children with Angelina Joliewhile celebrating his 58th birthday.

According to reports, the legendary actor is spending his big-day "low key" style and isn't planning on going out to celebrate his birthday. Unfortunately, the actor is STILL fighting with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie over their ongoing divorce. The former couple shares custody of their six children, which has become a major sticking point in their divorce.

"The situation with the kids is still a difficult situation. It sucks. It is what it is. His kids matter the most to him. But there are just processes you have to go through," a source told People. Although the custody case is ongoing, Pitt scored a major win earlier this year after he was awarded joint custody of the couple's five minor children. Unfortunately, it was undone after Angelina was able to disqualify the private judge working on their case.

Pitt is fighting the ruling, and his lawyers responded, "We are seeking review in the California Supreme Court because the temporary judge, who had been appointed and repeatedly renewed by both sides, was improperly disqualified after providing a detailed, fact-based custodial decision, following a lengthy legal process with multiple witnesses and experts."

Fortunately, Brad Pitt has a solid support system around him to help deal with the situation. "He is genuinely beloved," the source continued. Adding, People really like him, and he does have a strong circle supporting him." Obviously, the ongoing custody issues make it difficult to celebrate his birthday exactly how he wants it to go down.

Instead, the 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' star is going to relax on his big day, with a source saying, "He's staying low-key in general. That's really the kind of guy he is anyway. Since it's around Christmas time, "it's a natural time for reflection for him."

Back in 2020, the actor joked about getting old while accepting an award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. "I can't stand night shoots anymore, and I'll gladly hand a stunt over to a stunt man. I no longer remember the first rule of Fight Club," he joked referencing his hit movie. Adding, "But it's also nights like this where I get to look back and I feel really, really blessed. I feel so fortunate to all the amazing people I've been able to work with who have taught me so much and who's touched my life. From editors and composers, and amazing directors -- really beautiful, amazing people."

In the end, Brad and Angelina are STILL fighting over a settlement in their divorce and are currently discussing the sale and finances around their winery in France. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this thing is going to end anytime soon.
