Rapper Flavor Flav Narrowly Escapes Death After Massive Car Accident

Rapper Flavor Flav is recovering from a massive car accident, that nearly cost him his life -- after a giant rock fell onto his vehicle.

According to reports, the clock-chain-wearing rapper was involved in a brutal car accident on a road trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. A spokesperson for the musician says a boulder came crashing down on his vehicle, from a hillside near La Tuna Canyon.

Shockingly, the giant boulder smashed into the right side of his car, causing the rapper to lose control of the vehicle. Luckily, Flav was able to maneuver the Audi to the side of the road and survey the damage. The impact didn't injury the rapper but would have been deadly if the boulder struck just a few feet in either direction.

On Tuesday, the rapper opened up about the scary incident saying "God is good" for sparing him from major injury or death. Adding that he "came very close to death but is super grateful to be alive." The artist admits he is a bit shaken up mentally from the massive crash but remains physically in good shape. Obviously, the car was totaled and was towed from the scene.

As we reported, Flav made huge headlines in the past few weeks after popping up in a picture with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson to celebrate the 'SNL' star's birthday. Flav posted the picture, which became massive news considering it was one of the only images of the 'KUWTK' star and the comedian together. "Celebrating my adopted son Pete Davidson's birthday wit the legendz @kimkardashian and @krisjenner," his caption read. Adding, "Pete...I never took a clock off my neck to give to someone and you will be the last person I do this for...it lookz real good on you...happy birthday."

Unfortunately, Flavor Flav has been in the headlines for a few legal issues too. The rapper was arrested in November for domestic violence after he allegedly grabbed a woman and threw her down. According to the police report, "Flav allegedly poked his finger on the alleged victim's nose, grabbed her, threw her down, and grabbed a phone out of her hand." At the time, the rapper's attorney responded, saying, "In alleged domestic violence cases, there are often 2 sides to the story and we will explain our side in the courtroom and not in the media." The Las Vegas City Attorney's Office confirmed Flav was "charged with misdemeanor battery constituting domestic violence."

In the end, the rapper struck a plea deal lowering the charges to a minimal infraction.
