Jessica Simpson Goes Daisy Dukes Bombshell 100 Pounds Skinnier In Knotted Shirt

Jessica Simpson knocked the camera dead doing what she does best while ensuring her 2005-launched clothing collection got a little promo recently. The 40-year-old actress and singer, whose Jessica Simpson Style brand turned a reported $1 billion in 2015 sales, appeared in a new photo shared to her label's Instagram over Labor Day Weekend.

Jessica, who had already teased the look by posing from a pea-gree RV and with surfboards, was showing off her merch, her good looks, and the 100 pounds she dropped in 2019 after welcoming third baby Birdie Mae. Check it out below.

Still Got It At 40

Jessica had been snapped sitting on a woven rug in the cute RV, with drapes matching the pea-green paint. The mom of three was rocking tiny and barely-visible Daisy Dukes, with a yellow-and-white plaid shirt knotted up.

Once a bombshell, always a bombshell. Jessica dropped a stunning smile as she sat barefoot, with a caption reading: "Summer's last hurrah?" then shouting out Labor Day Weekend.

Fans Call Her 'Way Too Skinny'

Jessica, who stated she tipped the scales at 240 pounds at her heaviest, has since updated the figure to admit it was closer to 300 pounds – she was in the "high two hundreds," per a recent reveal. The "Open Book" author, who walked up to 10,000 steps a day to shift the weight, did, however, spark controversy as she turned 40. Fans called Simpson "way too skinny" after she fitted into a 14-year-old pair of True Religion jeans to close her 30s.

What She Ate To Lose The Weight

Jessica is fresh from admitting that she can barely look at cauliflower or eggs after eating so much of them during her weight-loss journey – eggs are cakes-only. The star's trainer Harley Pasternak told Hollywood Life:

“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner. As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined,”

Jessica Opens Up, Can't Eat Cauliflower Or Eggs

Late August saw Jessica speak to Hollywood Life, saying: "I literally only like eggs in a cake.” And she's baked plenty, having updated her Instagram baking with 8-year-old daughter Maxwell.

Jessica added that she does still treat herself: "I personally don’t stay away from foods if I want something, I’ll have some of it, but I’m good at putting it down. I mean, listen, I have kids, so if I want, I eat like a kid. I like corn dogs and mac and cheese – you don’t limit yourself," she added:
