The “All I Want For Christmas” singer is working towards total Christmas control. Mariah Carey branched out to pastries just in time for last year’s holiday, adding an even more upbeat quality to her already Christmassy persona.
The brand was named ‘Mariah’s Cookies,’ and it was created in association with restaurateur Robert Earl. It’s a virtual-only brand, which means fans shouldn’t expect the cookies to be popping up at their local grocery store just yet, but the cookies can be ordered to be delivered straight to their door.
“Mariah and I have chatted over the years about working together on a food business and, with her love of baking, cookies were a natural fit,” Robert Earl, co-founder of Virtual Dining Concepts, responded.
“As Mariah is synonymous with the holidays and celebration, we will make sure that her special holiday flavors are available not only for the holidays but year-round. It has been an inspiration to work with Mariah to develop this brand and to get it launched in time for National Cookie Day and the holiday season,” he concluded.
The line included flavors like Chocolate Chunk, Triple Chocolate Chunk, Heath Bar, Lemon Cooler, and Spiced Oatmeal Raisin.
“Yay, cookies! We love ’em….love ’em during the holidays…..love ’em all year round!!” Carey explained in a media statement.
The Cookies Are Back For 2021
Once again, the Grammy winner has traded her microphone for oven goods and will be sharing her latest cookie creations in honor of her favorite holiday.
In alliance with Virtual Dining Concepts, Carey is debuting this year’s holiday by introducing her “Holiday Hits Cookie Trio,” only available for a limited time.
“We forgot to leave cookies out for Santa last year and were terrified we’d wind up on the naughty list,” Carey explained in a press release. “So we FaceTimed him over the summer to ensure we got his top 3 flavors. In case you were wondering, here they are!”
The “Holiday Hits Trio 2021” includes Gingerbread, Cinnamon Sugar, and Chocolate Raspberry Truffle flavors. As with the rest of Mariah’s Cookies collection, these cookies can be ordered from Mariah’s Cookies app, mariahcareyscookies.com, and through third-party delivery apps.
While the “Holiday Hits Trio” is a limited-edition item, there are many other cookies to try that will be available all year.
Carey And Milk Bar Team Up To Launch A Dreamy Cake
The diva also partnered with Milk Bar to launch a limited edition cake in honor of her new Irish Cream Line, Black Irish. Newly launched at Tosi’s legendary bakery Milk Bar, the Double Chocolate Caramel Cream Cake is another holiday treat Carey recommends adding to your Christmas sweet-tooth menu.
“We partnered with THE Mariah Carey to celebrate her newest project, Black Irish Creams, with a chart-topping cake,” Tosi explained on her Milk Bar website. “It’s a double chocolate chip cake with cheesecake, gooey caramel, coffee milk crumble, and caramel frosting. Trust us. It’s all you’ll want for Christmas.”
The cake is about $80 and can be ordered from the Milk Bar website. Carey depicted how her new brand, Black Irish, played a role in creating the special Milk Bar cake.
“The holidays are the perfect time for something sweet, which is why I’m so excited to partner with Milk Bar to bring the flavors of Black Irish Salted Caramel to life with the Double Chocolate Caramel Cream Cake,” Carey expressed in a statement. “Inspired by Black Irish, this cake is perfect for holiday parties or simply for indulging your sweet tooth – a tasty morsel that I know everyone will enjoy.”
Carey Also Has A Special Menu At MacDonald’s
McDonald’s offers 12 days off deals to honor Carey’s royal status as part of her menu. This will start on December 13 and continue through the eve of Christmas.
The menu will have a new free item each day with a $1 minimum purchase on the McDonald’s app. While one day may be a classic cheeseburger, another may include an order of chocolate chip cookies.
“Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the Cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,” Carey said in a press release. “Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”
Carey’s Song Topped The Charts in 2019
Per Billboard, Carey’s signature holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” was on the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The holiday anthem hit number one for the first time last year—25 years after its original release in 1994.
