Kim Kardashian is expanding the reach of her billion-dollar brand!

The beauty mogul, 41, shared some thrilling news with her millions of fans today, confirming that she will be launching her famous SKIMS line in China.

The label’s Instagram page first posted a promotional poster about it to their Stories, followed by videos of Kim personally announcing the news. She was dressed in an all-black dress with a turtleneck design and long sleeves. The garment hugged her body like a glove, emphasizing her curvy hips and tiny waist. Her long raven locks were tied in a ponytail with braids — giving off Lara Croft vibes.

Kim’s makeup appeared minimal, featuring defined brows, a few coats of mascara, light eyeshadow, and a hint of contour.

“Hey guys, I am so excited to announce that SKIMS is officially launching in China,” Kim revealed. “We’re gonna be in Shanghai and Hong Kong at Lane Crawford.”

She continued, “And I personally hand-picked so many of the pieces for you guys, so I can’t wait for you to feel the fabrics, the styles, see what you guys like…and just check out SKIMS in China finally,” then finally blowing a kiss to her viewers.

Shoppers can even purchase SKIMS on the Lane Crawford website as the brand posted a link to their Instagram Stories.

According to Lane Crawford’s website, SKIMS offers over a hundred styles that include a range of “bras and knickers” available in sizes US 0 – to US 24.

Kim launched the brand in 2019. Since then, the company has gained $154 million in new funding, growing to $1.6 billion, as per the New York Times.

In a past interview with Nordstrom, Kim shared why she created the brand.

“I have always loved wearing shapewear but realized there was a lack of options when I couldn’t find anything that really worked for me,” she said. “Pieces were either too thick, too loose, too tight, didn’t have the right support, or just didn’t mold to my body the way I wanted them to. I began to experiment on my own by constructing pieces made from other garments and I would cut a leg or even dye fabric to get the right shade. SKIMS has really been in the making for over a decade.”

When asked about how SKIMS differs from other brands in the market, the reality star said she focused on comfort, while also noting the color range for all women.

“The inspiration for SKIMS started with finding solutions for dressing issues as opposed to ‘fixing’ or changing a woman’s natural shape and figure,” she explained. “I wanted shapewear that would allow me to wear amazing fashion pieces comfortably—whether it be a super high slit, low back, or plunging neckline. I also wanted SKIMS to feel accessible for all women, so from the beginning, I wanted at least nine shades and an extended size range.”
