Fans Defend MGK's Daughter's Dress: 'Very Elegant, Beautiful Young Lady'

Fans love Machine Gun Kelly's daughter's outfit at the 2021 American Music Awards!

Last night, the "Bloody Valentine" hitmaker, 31, attended the special event with another date other than his usual plus one, Megan Fox, 35. MGK walked the red carpet with her daughter, Casie Colson Baker, 12, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.

As per Page Six, the rapper wore a custom Ashton Michael black long sleeve top adorned with beads and grommets, a pair of black pants, and a spiked dog collar necklace. Meanwhile, Casie rocked a coordinating black gown with cut-outs along the sides. She added a number of accessories to her look, including a matching, small bag with a chain, chunky choker, a long necklace, statement earrings, a bracelet, and rings. Just like her dad, Casie also had her nails done -- painted in french tip style.

Some spectators didn't like the tween's dress. According to some, the piece of clothing was not age-appropriate. Several users expressed their thoughts by commenting under MGK and her daughter's picture, posted by the Daily Mail on Instagram.

"She too young to be wearing that sh--t," one wrote.

"She is 13. That dress is so not appropriate for a 13 year old," added another.

"Pretty girl. In her face, she looks 12 1/2-13 but the clothing has people thinking she's older, it's what they always do," noted a third Instagrammer.

However, MGK's fans defended Casie and her "beautiful" dress from internet trolls.

"it‘s literally just a plain black dress. It‘s not her fault she‘s that tall already and has grown features. I she supposed to wear pijamas on a red carpet?" one quipped.

"there is nothing with that dress. Covers more then shorts or swimsuit," added another one, while, a third user wrote, "Beautiful dress for a 13 year old she looks very elegant beautiful young lady dad looks very handsome."

MGK won favorite rock artist at the awards show, and his not-so-little girl cheered him on as he accepted the award on stage.

“I wanna accept this for all the aspiring musicians … not just the rock artists, but all the artists who are rock stars,” he said during his acceptance speech.

The rocker added, "Lastly, I just want to say this: I read a headline that says the age of the rock star is dead, but [it] looks pretty alive to me" as he walked off with his trophy in hand.

Kelly took a selfie with his trophy and his daughter, who was flashing a "heart" sign to the camera using her hands. In addition, he added more pictures taken from the event and a video featuring the time he won the award.

He wrote, "tWINning," in the caption, and added a black heart emoji.

In less than a day, the share earned over 1.4 million likes.

"Very well deserved !!" Vas J Morgan also wrote.

"She’s beautiful. Happy dad, happy daughter," added a third follower. Meanwhile, another one stated, "BEST FATHER AND DAUGHTER DUO EVERYONE."
