Ariana Grande is in full actress mode right now.

Grande is famously known for her impeccable vocals and catchy pop songs, but she hasn’t released any new music since dropping her “Positions” album in October 2020.

The singer is currently a judge on NBC’s “The Voice,” and she was just cast as “Glenda the Good Witch,” in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical “Wicked.”

In addition to her busy work schedule, the pop star also released her own beauty line called “R.E.M. Beauty.”

To say she’s booked and busy is an understatement.

And things are only looking to get more busy for the 28-year-old come award season.

Grande stars in Adam McKay’s new film, “Don’t Look Up,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and the great Meryl Streep.

“Don’t Look Up” drops on Netflix on December 10, and is already garnering a lot of Oscar buzz.

More specifically, DiCaprio and Grande are in talks to potentially get Academy Award nominations.

According to Variety, the Grammy-winning singer is a shoe in for an Oscar nomination for original song.

Grande has a very small role in the film, so that wouldn’t be enough to get her nominated for best actor or supporting actor, but she did help create the song, “Don’t Look Up,” for the movie.

“Don’t Look Up” was co-written by Taura Stinson, along with Grande and Scott Mescudi, a.k.a. Kid Cudi.

Speaking at a Q&A at the Harmony Gold Theatre on Wednesday, November 17, director, writer, producer Adam McKay praised the original song.

“You have to write the song to save all of mankind,” he said. “It might be my favorite moment in the movie. The No. 1 pop star in the world telling us, ‘We’re all going to die, get your head out of your a**.'”

Another member of the production who is totally in love with Grande is Oscar-winner Lawrence.

JLaw explained she had a total fangirl, freak out moment with the singer.

“She can’t make bad music. I’ve since reflected on my behavior with Ariana Grande. I went full radio contest winner,” she hilariously recalled. “I was so excited and nervous that at one point, I just kind of walked into her hotel room and sat down. I’ve just been thinking about it a lot lately. There were all of these trunks for her hair and makeup, and I was like, ‘Do you live here?'”

McKay shot back, “She didn’t like you.”

Lawrence is infamous for having iconic fangirl moments.

Recently, a video of her and Jack Nicholson meeting after she won her first Oscar is going viral again.
