Hours ago, Britney took to Instagram to share that she received some makeup packages from the famous YouTuber, probably in celebration of her newfound freedom.
Britney uploaded a photo of a bedazzled lip and appreciated Jeffree in the accompanying caption. She wrote, “@JeffreeStar thank you for sending me the coolest makeup ever 😍💄!!! Ok my mom does face care so trust me I know the salesmanship when it comes to selling products.”
Britney noted that she wasn’t going to go into details about makeup salesmanship in order not to sound “self righteous.” However, she showed love to a particular product from Jeffree’s collection.
The “Toxic” singer called Jeffree’s Holy Mist the “bomb” and confessed that she never goes to bed or wakes up without applying it.
She even joked about opening the package to drink the product and commented on the” adorable bullet lipstick” that accompanied the mist.
Britney told her 36.5 million followers that she had to post about the product publicly because she wished someone had told her about it. She ended her shoutout, writing, “Jeffree Star, you’re a genius!!!! Holy Mist is more like holy s—t this is good!”
Jeffree Star Responds To Britney Spears
Evidently touched by Britney’s words, the makeup artist took to his Instagram story and reposted the singer’s upload. Underneath it, he added a poster that read, “Iconic.”
According to Star’s website, the Holy Mist is the collection’s first-ever face mist “designed to soothe and hydrate the skin of even the strongest sinner.” A bottle retails for $26.

Although Jeffree appreciated Britney’s rave about his product, many fans weren’t pleased that the 39-year-old associated herself with the controversial YouTuber.
Fans Protest, Ask Britney To Stay Away
In the comments section, many fans expressed their displeasure with one fan warning, “He’s using you, Queen! Run and send those evil products back.”
Another user urged Britney not to trust Jeffree, while another informed her that he was “problematic.” One concerned fan wrote, “Britney I love you but don’t associate with Jeffree please.”
Many other fans pointed out that Britney should be cut some slack as she has been out of touch and didn’t know about Jeffree’s controversy.
The 36-year-old YouTuber is no stranger to controversy. His most famous scandal, however, happened in 2016 and when leaked videos showed him being racist.
Jeffree was seen chasing black women on the street and calling them the N-word. He also joked about throwing battery acid on a black woman to make her light skin.
The internet has tried to cancel him several times, but Jeffree remains one of YouTube’s biggest stars with over 16 million subscribers.
The social media personality seems to have, however, repented from his ways. In an interview, Jeffree apologized to fans for acting “childish and stupid,” before sharing he was growing up.
