Nearly a week after sharing with the world his diagnosis with the novel coronavirus, ‘Family Karma’ star Vishal Parvani is claiming that he is starting to feel better.
Parvani may be younger, but as he shared in a recent episode of ‘Family Karma,’ he is also immunocompromised due to Crohn’s Disease. In a recent post to Instagram, the television star shared with fans his feelings a week out from being tested and what he thinks others should do in order to combat the virus’ spread.
Please Stay Home,” Parvani plainly stated at the beginning of his highly-revealing video shared to his Instagram page, “Hey guys, I have been self-quarantining for the past 2 weeks. After finding out that I was exposed to someone who tested positive for covid 19, I immediately got tested since I’m immunosuppressed. I was tested positive. I’m doing well, but just wanted to emphasize to everyone – please stay home. We will get through this together,” the ‘Bravo’ star continued candidly.
Throughout his recovery, Parvani was very open with fans about what he was doing to stay busy and stay healthy. He shared a healthy juice blend that he was drinking every morning, as well as engaged with fans and other cast members via Twitter during the most recent episode of ‘Family Karma.’ Clearly despite his diagnosis Parvani is doing everything he physically can to keep occupied and well as his body fought off the virus. On April 1st, he offered another updated look into his health situation.
“Thanks everyone for your well wishes! Lets think of ways we can give back to to the real heroes, the healthcare workers, as they are putting others safety first before themselves everyday!” Parvani posted to Instagram.
“Would love some suggestions, please let me know! Send me pictures or videos of you helping during these uncertain times. I challenge you to #goviralnotviral. Remember staying at home helps the most, and if you need company you can watch #familykarma – so you can #stayhomewithbravo :).”
Parvani went on to explain to his Instagram followers that he would be looking to donate blood/plasma once he is fully recovered.
“I’m still going to be in isolation for some days now, but during this time I was thinking of some ways I could give back, and I called an infectious disease doctor today and asked if I could donate blood once I’m in the clear. And he mentioned to me that FDA approval will hopefully happen soon. So where I can donate my plasma and they can check for antibodies and hopefully distribute it to patients,” he told fans on Instagram.
