Delilah Hamlin Is Determined To 'Get Better' Following Her Grandmother's Death

Delilah Hamlin posts a touching tribute to her grandmother.

The model, 23, took to Instagram and penned a lengthy note dedicated to Lois Rinna, who passed away yesterday at age 93, as previously shared by The Blast.

"Nana, What a special human you were. There are no words to encapsulate how amazing you were," Delilah wrote in the caption, along with old and new pictures featuring her beloved granny.

She continued, "This journey has been such a sad, shocking, yet beautiful experience because I know now you get to be with Frank and be reunited with the love of your life, while looking as beautiful as ever. Heaven has certainly gained a beautiful, smart, entertaining, compassionate, loving angel this morning at 5:05 am????"

The socialite concluded her message by writing, "I will never forget you nana. I love you more than you have ever probably known. You were a fighter. You taught and showed me the meaning of strength. And as one of your last wishes, I will get better for you. ❤️"

Earlier this month, Delilah revealed her difficult health journey to her fans on Instagram. While she's not an anti-vaxxer, she claims that her illnesses flared up from getting the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“So basically, in the beginning of the year, I want to say, February and March is when I got my COVID 19 vaccine," she said in a video posted on November 2. "And in no way am I saying I’m an anti-Vaxxer because I’m totally not. I just didn’t know enough about it. No one did."

Delilah was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr, SIBO (Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections), and many others. She also shared that she had an accidental overdose of Xanax and was hospitalized because of it. Her severe panic attacks at the time required her to see a psychiatrist who prescribed her several medications.

“He overprescribed me with one medication that one of my friends takes like 10 milligrams, and he gave me like 20 milligrams three times a day, and then he gave me 3 milligrams of Xanax a day,” Delilah recalled. “So my body got dependent on Xanax number one, and number two, I overdosed. I didn’t mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called propranolol. I took Benadryl with it, and for some reason, I ended up in the hospital.”

Delilah's grandma had a stroke a few days ago. Her mom, Lisa Rinna, 58, shared the sad news on social media, posting along with a video of Lois dancing to “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi feat. Justin Bieber.

"I know how much you appreciate and LOVE Lois so I need to tell you that she has had a stroke, I am with her now [at the hospital],” Lisa captioned the post. “So lets celebrate her and send her so much love while she transitions. I was so conflicted to share this very very sad news with you, but I know you would want to know. ???
