Ireland Baldwin is back in the news. The 24-year-old daughter to Hollywood heavyweight Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger took to Instagram over the weekend, with the photos proving sufficiently viral in nature to make The Daily Mail‘s headlines.
Coronavirus now sees most of Hollywood – Ireland included – in quarantine. The model had already made headlines this month for cutting her own hair “because who cares anymore.” The locks seemed in good shape in the blonde’s latest snaps – likewise, the bikini body in what turned out to be a very revealing two-piece.

Ireland’s Sunday post delivered multiple photos. All showed the star on an outdoor deck with wicker furnishings, tiled flooring, plus the blonde’s dogs seen freely walking around in one photo.
With a very revealing pose, Ireland was seen flaunting her flat stomach and ample cleavage in a vintage-style floral bikini in red and white prints – the model’s prominent tattoos were also on show, with Ireland snapped seated at a table, standing, and definitely showing off her figure. A makeup-free face and tied-back hair showcased the beauty’s striking facial features as she simply captioned her update: “I found a swimsuit.”
Bikini body snaps tend not to bring in the celeb parent comments, but this one did. Dad Alec swooped into the comments section. The “30 Rock” star gave a nod to COVID-19 in his response.
“It’s the virus. In your head,” he wrote, also recently commenting on Ireland’s dance to Megan Thee Stallion’s viral “Savage” TikTok challenge.
The overall response proved mixed. While Ireland was called “HELLA HOT!!!” by one fan, others seemed less keen.
“You don’t need to do that,” one user wrote.
Ireland clapped right back, writing: “No, I just want to.”
The swimwear was also tagged in Ireland’s post – it was from Faithfull The Brand and is now sold out.
Ireland has yet to build up a massive Instagram following – it sits at 575,000 – although with superstar parents, the model’s career seems all set. 2013 saw her sign with prestigious IMG modeling agency, with 2017 seeing her appear in campaigns for True Religion Jeans and Guess.
“I was born in Beverly Hills, but I like to consider myself a citizen of the world, because I’ve bounced around. I’m a traveler, explorer. I grew up in LA, but have lived in a different place almost every year of my life,” she told GenLux.
The GenLux feature also saw Ireland speak of her appearance – the model is considered to have an unconventional beauty to her.
“I never looked in the mirror and thought, “You are so hot.” It took a lot of other people to believe in me before I could believe in myself. It was my trainer, my nutritionist, my stylist, my agent—all who believed in me,” she said.
Despite her relatively-modest Instagram following, Ireland is followed by major faces. Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, and Ashley Graham all keep tabs on her.
