After his payments went through Post Malone became the proud new owner of two Bored Apes. They are quite a good-looking pair, with one of the digital primates sporting a full grill of sparkling teeth with rainbow suspenders, while the other seems to have suffered some unfortunate injuries.

The rapper did find one attribute shared between his apes, as they are both sporting cowboy hats – something Post Malone has been known to wear every now and then.

According to the Bored Ape Yacht Club website, there is a roadmap in place that will allow owners of the apes to participate in special community events and opportunities.

"BAYC is a collection of 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs—unique digital collectibles living on the Ethereum blockchain. Your Bored Ape doubles as your Yacht Club membership card, and grants access to members-only benefits, the first of which is access to THE BATHROOM, a collaborative graffiti board," a description on the site reads.

It continues, "Future areas and perks can be unlocked by the community through roadmap activation."
