There’s nothing the actors can say to make fans believe them, thanks to internet rumors and leakage, but that doesn’t mean Garfield hasn’t tried.
No Way Home Is Instilling Curiosity
The actor is currently on his second movie press tour in as many months, and he hasn’t stopped receiving questions about his role in No Way Home, many of which are accompanied by a wink from the person who is inquiring.
Garfield was asked about Spider-Man again at the opening of his new movie Tick, Tick… BOOM!, directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and starring Garfield as late Rent writer Jonathan Larson.
When asked if he would feature in the upcoming film by Extra, Garfield reiterated that he isn’t participating, but he did take a moment to promote the present edition of the web-crawling hero.
Garfield added, “I absolutely admire what that complete crew has done with the character.” “Like, I really adore what Jon Watts, Tom, Amy Pascal, and Kevin Feige have done with this version of the character, and they’ve given it so much life and so much fun and joy, and it’s so genuine to the character,” says the actor.
“I’ll say this: I’m really looking forward to seeing what they’ve done with the third installment,” he said.
People Pitching In
The multiverse will be explored in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is where the idea of many versions of Spider-Man arriving comes from.
Marvel and Sony have already revealed that Alfred Molina will reprise his role as Otto Octavious, nicknamed Doc Ock, from Spider-Man 2.
Jamie Foxx and Willem Dafoe are said to be reprising their roles as Electro and Green Goblin, respectfully.
The official poster for No Way Home appears to confirm at least their characters’ participation. With all of the returning characters that fans currently know about, it would be a huge surprise if Garfield and Maguire weren’t in the film.
Repetition? Boring Yet
There’s only a month left to find out who will feature in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Even if no one believes him, that’s a full month of Garfield being asked questions he’s already answered.
For months, anticipation for No Way Home has been at an all-time high thanks to Tom Holland’s phenomenal success as Spider-Man. There were a lot of rumors going around during this time. Some “leaks” from the set have also surfaced online, however, it’s unclear whether these were true.
December Is Packed
All eyes are on the intriguing contents of Spider-Man: No Way Home now that Eternals is officially behind us.
Tom Holland appears to be very proud of the next movie, despite the fact that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are reportedly not in it. Regardless of how many times this story point has been dismissed, some fans will continue to hope.
