Kris Jenner Silent About 'Astroworld' Tragedy, Shows Off B-Day Flowers Instead

Kris Jenner must have not heard the tragic news about what happened at Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’ concert in Houston, Texas on Friday, because the woman hasn’t mentioned a word about it on social media.

Rather, Kris spent the weekend gushing over the excessive number of flower arrangements she was gifted for her birthday.

30 flower arrangements to be exact.

Kris celebrated her 66th birthday on November 5, and had an intimate karaoke party on Friday, November 6, the same night as the ‘Astroworld’ tragedy.

The Blast previously reported on the shocking horror show that took place during Travis’ concert.

It’s been reported that a person in the audience was sticking concertgoers with a needle and injecting a foreign substance into their bodies.

At least eight people are confirmed dead and at least 300 injured.

Mass chaos ensued and people were trampled trying to get away from danger.

Unfortunately, the rapper continued his show while lifeless bodies were crowd surfed to safety.

Both Travis and Kylie have issued statements.

On Saturday, November 6, Travis took to Twitter to break his silence.

“I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. “Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life,” he said.

His statement continued, “I am committed to working together with the Houston Community to heal and support the families in need. Thank you to Houston FD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support. Love You All.”

He also took to his Instagram stories on Saturday to send more prayers and condolences to the lives that were lost during his show.

Travis’ other half, Kylie Jenner, released a statement on her Instagram story as well.

The cosmetics mogul also released a statement via Instagram on Saturday.

She started off saying, “Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured, or affected in anyway by yesterday’s events. And also for Travis who I know cares deeply for his fans and the Houston community.”

Kylie continued her statement and defended the rapper.

“I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued performing. I am sending my deepest condolences to all the families during this difficult time and will be praying for the healing of everyone who has been impacted,” her statement concluded.

While Kylie and Travis were mourning the tragedy to occurred ‘Astroworld,’ Kris was relishing in all her birthday glory.

On Sunday, the mommager posted 30 different photos of flower arrangements she received for her birthday.

It’s a bit surprising because Kris and the rest of Kylie’s family have always sent social media love in support when tragedy strikes across the globe.

Given how “close to home” this was for Kylie and Travis, one would think Kris would issue a statement of her own or simply send her condolences to the families who lost loved ones.
