Tiffany Haddish, who is guest hosting for Ellen DeGeneres, brought Nicole Scherzinger on for a loaded interview to talk about everything from exercise to ice baths.
Scherzinger, 43, best known to fans as the lead singer of "The Pussycat Dolls," hasn't been shy about letting fans into her relationship with 36-year-old personal trainer Thom Evans.
The Zimbabwe-born athlete is a former Scottish international rugby union player who last played on the wing for the Glasgow Warriors in the Celtic League. He ended his career at the age of 24 after a serious neck injury and has since turned to modeling.
The couple regularly attends gym sessions together and are so in sync with one another that Haddish jokingly referred to it as "sexercise,” especially considering the kinds of workouts Scherzinger shares on her Instagram page.

"The Masked Singer" judge couldn't help but laugh as Haddish showed the audience a glimpse of the couple working out up on the screen. In one clip, Scherzinger is supporting herself over his head while balancing her feet on top of his outstretched legs.
"Oh my gosh, that's so funny, I didn't know they were going to show this," Scherzinger laughed at the couple’s compromising position.
She explained that she loves having Evans in the gym working out beside her because "he’s a control freak and I’m a control freak, but in the videos, we're really happy and really cute. He loves to work out, he keeps me motivated, and I motivate us on the videos."
She also added that she likes to recover from intense workouts with an ice bath.

Although many athletes have praised the benefits of cryotherapy, especially after tough competitions, Scherzinger is in it for the mental game.
Admitting that ice baths are "so good for your body" she explained that "it sharpens the mind like iron."
"It’s all mental for me," she added. "I have to put on some music and go into a zone."
Scherzinger definitely looked “in the zone” in a clip that Haddish showed to the audience, which shows Scherzinger relaxing in a large tub filled with ice, her eyes closed.
Although studies have been mixed, most research shows that ice baths do provide some positive health benefits for the body. In addition to helping soothe sore and aching muscles, it also reportedly helps boost reaction time by strengthening the central nervous system and helps limit inflammation in the body.
Haddish admitted to also trying ice baths, although she said she stays in "for about a hot five-to-eight minutes before I start crying."
When Scherzinger told her she's not supposed to stay in for more than six minutes, Haddish replied, "Are you serious? Well, I'm an overachiever."
