Will Smith Wishes His 'Bean' Willow Smith A Happy Birthday With Touching Passage!

Willow Smith recently celebrated her 21st birthday on October 31.

Of course, her famous family got in on the celebration via social media, but none could be cuter than her dad’s birthday tribute.

On November 1, Will Smith posted a video of himself reading a passage from his upcoming book, “Will.” The video is from the first time he had read his book to his daughter.

He started out, “Willow Camille Reign Smith was born on Halloween, 2000. Her due date had been November 11, which is Trey’s birthday. But even in the womb, she knew she was not sharing no birthday with nobody.”

The family was gathered around a circular table and all shared hearty laughs at that particular part.

“She showed up two weeks early in dramatic fashion. I was the first person to hold her. She was so tiny. Her whole body fit in one hand. Her limbs dangling off the edges of my palm. Within 15 seconds she had her nickname, something I call her to this day, “My Bean,” Will said.

You can see Willow had been overcome with emotion when her dad read her nickname aloud.

Of course, Papa Will couldn’t keep the mood too serious and revealed he had no idea Willow was a girl at first.

“She came out, I held her, I gazed in awe at her and then screamed at the top of my lungs, ‘Oh my god! Where’s his penis?’,” Will hysterically revealed.

The actor ended the tribute with “Happy Birthday, Bean!”

Willow’s mom and “Red Table Talk” co-host, Jada Pinkett Smith, also shared a touching tribute for “Bean” as well.

Jada posted a montage of Willow from birth to 21-years-old. It showcased Willow as a young girl playing piano singing, clips from her music videos and home video moments.

The “Girls Trip” actress captioned the video, “My baby ain’t no baby no mo’! You are 21 Ms Willow Smith! Your dad INSISTEd that he have a baby girl and I’m sooooooo glad he did. You are one of the most resilient, courageous, brilliant, insightful, talented, beautiful humans I know. I don't have the words to express the deep love I have for you or how happy I am to watch you spread your wings. BUT... I hope you can FEEL how much I love you and how much of a Divinely astounding blessing you are to me. Happy freak’n 21st Willoween Bean!!!!!!!😘❤️”

For Halloween and her birthday, Willow dressed up as Brad Pitt’s character in “Fight Club.” She celebrated with a night out on the town accompanied by friends.
