Willow Smith’s emotions seem to be turning a corner.
The singer recently shared a message to her Instagram Story reminding fans they’re perfect the way they are.
Willow reshared a post from @blackmalementalhealth on Thursday, October 28.
The post read, “Daily Reminder: There’s nothing wrong with who you are. We all have patterns to unlearn, new behaviors to embody & wounds to heal. But there is nothing wrong with the core of you and who you are as a person. You might be unlearning generations of harm. It takes time.”
Willow Smith Shares an Inspirational Message
This empowering message comes just days after an emotional Willow took to social media.
Earlier this week the singer got candid with fans on Instagram Live and revealed she woke up with a ‘heavy heart.’
On Tuesday, October 26, the 20-year-old was crying on IG and told fans, “My heart was heavy this morning waking up. I see fans hurting.”

While Willow was definitely hurting, she was also on Live to share a powerful message.
“Through our pain, let’s try to learn through our pain and not be discouraged and beat down by our pain,” she said. “We can help others do the same when we learn to do that within ourself.”
Prior to her IG Live, willow posted a photo of the ocean and captioned it, “everyday I wake up to a <nightmare> of my own creation.”

Willow continued saying on IG Live, “Just make some tender space for the aching hearts. I know my heart is definitely aching. So, I love you and I hope that this little message made some of you feel seen, made some of you feel loved and understood, because that’s all that matters.”
The singer has been on the road performing “Willow’s Life Tour.” Earlier this week she revealed on “Red Table Talk” that she was in Baltimore, Maryland, so that’s why she wasn’t able to join her mom and grandma at the table.
Willow is also getting ready to celebrate a milestone birthday. She will ring in her 21st birthday on Sunday, October 31, aka, Halloween.
The singer has kept the details of any sort of celebration under wraps, but given the heavy space she has been in, we hope that there are more cheers than tears on her big day.
