'RHONY' Alum Carole Radziwill Claps Back After Andy Cohen Dig

Carole Radziwill slammed Andy Cohen after noting that she has changed since her stint with "The Real Housewives of New York City."
"Just another man telling a woman she ought to be more grateful," Radziwill tweeted on Wednesday. "Housewives changed Andy Cohen's life, not mine. And Bravo built a 100 million dollar franchise on the backs of women. Let's not get it twisted," she concluded and added an arm emoji.
The "RHONY" alum's tweet came after Cohen stated, "She is not the person I used to know" to author Dave Quinn for his explosive new tell-all book, "Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of the Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It."
Quinn interviewed about 185 people for the exhaustive oral history, including current and former "RHONY" stars. He also remarked that the first 500 pages covered the origin of the series.
"I'm just giving everyone the space to say their piece," he added. "There's a big difference between facts and feelings."
He mentioned that most of them had less than glowing things to say about the show's mastermind, Andy Cohen.
Backstory
Cohen and Radziwill began their feud after the latter announced her departure from "RHONY" in 2018. She was a part of the show for six seasons.
Later, the alum said in a statement at the time that she was leaving the reality show to focus on "TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament." However, after this initial revelation, she took to her Instagram page to share more cryptic messages.
"If you were doing something that was forcing you to do things that went against your own value system would you walk away regardless of the pay?" she asked her followers at the time and added, "It's a tough decision."
After seeing the results of her poll, she said, "So 80% would walk away from something that went against their own values? That's how I felt this past year too. It's difficult but life is long and you can't always play the short game."
Unfortunately, Cohen didn't take kindly to Radziwill's social media post — even though she claimed it had nothing to do with the show.
"Carole's post basically implied that she was leaving a really toxic situation," he told Quinn in the book, which hit the stores on Tuesday. "It really rubbed me the wrong way because I really felt like I had changed her life."
Radziwill Learned Something While On' RHONY'
Radziwill frequently talks about her time in "RHONY" and the shared experiences with her co-stars. Earlier this year, she spoke about a fallout with Bethany Frankel, which became a great story in season ten.
"We developed a genuine friendship," Radziwill claimed on Life After Bravo. "She's high energy and she's very strategic and she talks a lot, which is great because I wasn't a big talker. So in a friendship like that, I would listen, listen, listen, listen."
Ultimately, that was what broke their friendship, as Radziwill eventually didn't feel reciprocated by Frankel. Radziwill also admitted that thanks to her friendship with Frankel, she could "recognize narcissists from a mile away."
"I wasn't confused at all about why our friendship blew up," she added. "We had had some difficult boundary-kind-of-conversations, and when you try to make boundaries with some people, they're not down with that. So maybe she saw it as more of an attack against her."
What Does Radziwill Do Now?
Since she departed from the RHONY show, Radziwill has been busy. In 2019, she revealed that she was working on a scripted comedy series, potentially inspired by her time on the reality show.
She also revealed her plans to develop a separate true crime show.
Aside from her television career, Radziwill is also working on her third book and talked with WWD about other potential projects she hoped to pursue.
In the meantime, she is also a contributing editor for the beauty site Violet Grey. It would appear that she has been making good use of her time off-camera.
