Eve's Struggle With Conception

Late last year, Eve opened up about the struggles she has been through in getting pregnant.

In an episode of the show, "The Talk," she talked about the shame and emotional turmoil she and her husband Cooper had to go through. As reported by ESSENCE, she expressed the pain with the words,

“I felt like I was damaged. I felt like I was broken. I felt like, maybe I wasn’t good enough.”

Eve felt like pregnancy is something natural that happens to every woman. However, she thought she wasn't good enough when she didn't get her deserved blessing on time.

The hip-hop star held on to these feelings of shame for a long time before coming out to share with her fans. She explained how not sharing her plight made her feel worse about herself.

Eve's Effort As A Stepmom

Although Eve loves her step-children, it wasn't relatively easy to get used to at first. According to PEOPLE, she spoke about when she first met her husband and admitted to saying,

“This is never gonna last because you got four kids! How’s this gonna work?”

Later on, the 42-year-old stepmom felt very lucky to have the kids in her life, even though it took up to three years to get adjusted.

For about 12 years now, the rapper has been a stepmom to the four children of Max Cooper from his previous relationship.

Due to her step-kids location in London, Eve had to visit them every few weeks, and that was before the pandemic when flights were constant and stable.

Last year, the rapper revealed that she would be resigning from the co-host role in CBS's "The Talk" to become a constant figure in her step-kids lives.

She decided, based on how exhausting it was for herself, her husband, and the kids, to take flights every few weeks.

Not only does this decision prove beneficial to all parties involved, but the kids are also pretty excited about Eve being a steady part of the family.
