Maluma Sets The Record Straight On Dating Rumors With Kim Kardashian

Juan Luis Londoño Arias, popularly known as "Maluma," has cleared the air regarding his dating allegations with TV personality Kim Kardashian.

The Columbian artist spoke up, after months of gossip that the hot duo was a couple, following news of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's divorce from former husband, Kanye West.

In a recent interview with L'Officiel Hommes, the singer said that he and the tv personality are only "good friends," and he is unsure where and how the relationship rumors started.

Maluma told L'Officiel Hommes that he was first introduced to the "SKIMS" brand owner and her sibling, Kourtney Kardashian, at Miami's Dior Men's Fall 2020 Runway Show, December 2019.

The songwriter said, "people just started talking about it," probably because the socialite was getting divorced.

Regarding their current relationship, the artist said, "we don't talk that often" but "we are good friends" and always "wish the best for each other."

In June, the businesswoman also denied the romance rumors during a reunion special of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" when host Andy Cohen asked if the two were dating.

She said, "I've seen him a few times, always in Miami… Such a nice guy."

On Saturday, July 17, 2021, The Blast reported that the mother-of-four uploaded a cryptic post to her Instagram page, which sent fans into speculation.

While the entrepreneur's beauty took some followers, others were keener on her caption, which read, "You bring out the best in me."

The viral post attracted many comments from intrigued fans who swarmed her comment section with personal questions.

"Who's bringing out the best in you now because we all know Kanye wasn't doing that," a fan questioned the fashion icon.

The 40-year-old was also rumored to be in a relationship with CNN anchor Van Jones for months. 

In June, The Blast revealed that Jones was grateful to Kim, saying, "this rumor has gotten me so many dates, so I owe you."

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the CNN correspondent praised the soon-to-be lawyer who "has used her platform to help people behind bars."

He said the socialite will be "an unbelievable attorney" and "she's already one of the best advocates that we have in criminal justice."

Despite his rich compliments, the two are just colleagues with a common goal and focus of helping people who the criminal justice system has unfairly treated.

During a June interview with Andy Cohen, Kim also set the record straight to the public when she said, "I'm not dating either one. Not Van Jones, not Maluma." 

The media personality made it clear that her children are her biggest priority, and they come first in every situation.

The actress said that she and Kanye, who filed for joint custody of their kids, have an excellent co-parenting relationship, and her family sees the musician as one of them.

The socialite is also concentrating on exploring the various aspects of the entrepreneurial industry.
