Mayim Bialik, who was a guest host on "Jeopardy!," revealed that she is now in a new relationship. This is coming eight years after she separated from her first husband, Micheal Stone, who is a businessman. The pair was married from 2003 to 2012.

Stone was raised Mormon but converted to Judaism after dating Bialik for five years.

“It was on our first date that I told my gentle friend Mike that I could only marry a Jew,” Bialik recalled in a post on Kveller. The pair went on to tie the nuptial knot in a Victorian-themed Jewish ceremony in Pasadena, California.

Per Reuters, Bialik previously shared online that she and her husband met in a UCLA calculus class as graduate students. After nearly a decade together, they split, citing “irreconcilable differences," according to Bialik.

“Divorce is terribly sad, painful, and incomprehensible for children. It is not something we have decided lightly,” she wrote on her parenting blog at the time.

She added, “The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible. Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that's what we are focusing on."

Does Bialik Have Kids?

The "Call Me Kat" actress has two sons, Miles, and Frederick, both of whom she shares with her ex-husband.

Bialik welcomed her first child, Miles, in 2005, then three years later, he gave birth to her second child, Frederick. Back in 2011, the mom of two shared a photo of herself nursing her 3-year-old son on an NYC subway. During a 2014 interview with HuffPost Live, Bialik defended breastfeeding in public.

“Our culture has a very, very bizarre relationship with breasts,” she said. “Breastfeeding is not a sexual act. It’s an intimate act, and that makes some people uncomfortable, but it’s completely normal to have all of the human hormones that are released when you breastfeed, regulating your relationship with your child.”

When Was Bialik Hired On 'Jeopardy!'?

"Jeopardy!" recently revealed that the Bialik and game show GOAT Ken Jennings would be guest hosts of the beloved quiz show throughout 2021. This was an achievement that made Bialik and her entire family proud.

She spoke about her hiring experience in a Jeopardy! Interview saying;

“My older son is the one who originally said, ‘Did you know they’re looking for Jeopardy! hosts? I saw it on the internet. Maybe you should find out,'” the 45-year-old actress said. “He was really, really proud. He’s also very, very excited. My 12-year-old’s a little less enthralled in general with me being in the industry, but I think he knows it’s a very iconic thing and mostly he’ll criticize what I look like because that’s what 12-year-olds do.”

Fans were equally excited to hear the news that Bialik had been hired, as she had built up a long resume in both show business and academia. She first rose to prominence after playing the role of a teenager in "Beaches,'' and later starred in "Blossom" in the early 90s.

Before she secured a role on "The Big Bang Theory" as neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler, Bialik became an actual neuroscientist. She graduated with a Ph.D. from UCLA in 2007, according to Biography.
