One of the four men accused of murdering XXXTentacion has been found mentally competent and the criminal case against him will now move forward.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Michael Boatwright, who is behind bars on murder and robbery charges, was recently found competent by a court-appointed doctor. The determination means the case against Boatwright will continue.

Boatwright had been ordered to submit to the mental exam by the judge to determine if he understood the charges he is facing, whether he understands the possible penalties, if he has the ability to behave himself in court, and whether he has the capacity to testify relevantly.

Back in July, Boatwright was arrested for an unrelated drug charge but served with a warrant on July 10 for first-degree murder while in custody.

Boatwright is allegedly one of the two armed suspects who confronted XXXTentacion outside Riva Motorsports.
